About Knossos Gyros

Knossos Gyros is a cozy, unpretentious neighborhood diner in Dormont that is perfect for a casual meal before or after a movie at the nearby theater. The family-friendly environment offers bar seating and delicious gyros, shakes, sandwiches, fries, and more. The new owners are friendly and welcoming, serving fresh, flavorful food with amazing sauce. The chicken gyro is marinated well and tender, and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant offers gyros in three different sizes, including a smaller one for kids, along with a selection of penny candy at the register. Customers praise the place for its community-oriented owners, fresh and homemade tasting food, and affordable prices. The pierogi gyro with lamb is highly recommended, and many customers have become regulars, enjoying excellent gyros and a good vibe. Highly recommended!

Finally made our way to Knossos. Do not ask me why we waited so long. Today we had the lobster roll which was perfect. Not like a lot of other places who bury it with tons of mayo. No this was all lobster with the perfect seasoning and butter. Of course got a gyro to go for later. The owners were super friendly and so nice. If you have not gone yet What are you waiting for?!

best gyro around even better than Mike and Tony's. Give them a try.

The best family friendly casual dining I’ve had.

The family that owns it is really kind and invested in the community.

Good food and arcade games do not hurt.
