“This place seems to be authentic for me. Small Korean restaurant with few extra seats on the second floor. Waiting time around 15 mins because they are busy with other orders. The counter desk lady is quick and serious. I ordered the most expensive dish in the menu - galbi bento (Korean short ribs). Decent size portion, enough for a man to get full, meat was fresh with balanced marinade but chewy for me. So, I was not able to eat every piece of meat in whole. Nice place to explore. Would order unagi bowl next time.“
“An awesome Korean bakery! All of the items I got were definitely high quality. I think I prefer this place over Pink Box, but I’ll need to try more to be sure. I ordered the condensed milk loaf, twisted donut, plain buttercream bread, and the coffee bun.My favorite of the items was by far the coffee bun, which I was quite surprised by! It had nice, crispy edges full of sweet, but not too sweet, coffee flavor. The inside was soft and had hints of coffee as well. Overall, very good! And good portion for the price. The twisted donut reminded me of just a regular donut sprinkled with sugar. It wasn’t anything too special or extraordinary, but it was well made. The inside was soft, and it was very sweet. The plain buttercream bread was surprisingly not that sweet! The buttercream is quite rich and creamy. I will say, I would have liked a bit more of it, as the bread really dominated the flavor here. Still, great.I was a tad bit disappointed with the condensed milk loaf, but it was still great. I was expecting a bit more milky flavor and sweetness, but the hints of condensed milk are very light. The bread is still soft and fluffy, and a solid deal for the price. All in all, I really enjoyed this place. The desserts were all high quality and pretty fairly priced in my opinion. Solid portions as well. Some unique items, some more standard. Recommend it!Kid-friendliness: Kids would enjoy at least some of these treats“
“Excellent food. Don't miss the house made pork dumplings, yum yum cauliflower, spicy pickled daikon side, lychee martini or churros. Everything we ordered was extremely good. Would definitely be a regular if I lived in the area. Cute small bar in the back. Very good service.Kid-friendliness: Fairly loud restaurant. Great for people concerned about their kids making too much noise for other patrons.“
“The bulgogi steak burritos are out of control delicious. Just stop what you are doing and get on your ride and go get it right now. Also, try the fried chicken box. It comes with a nice portion of rice and cabbage (not quite kimchi?) That is also very tasty!“
“Had a wonderful first time experience last night. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious, generous portions, and something to remember! Atmosphere was very cozy and fun. Staff were very friendly and attentive- Rachael was a gem! ? Will be back with friends!“
“Soba provides a memorable experience to share dinner and great conversation with a friend. After beautifully crafted cocktails, we enjoyed the Chopped Salad and Crispy Tofu. The visual artistry and flavor bomb of the Chocolate Maki is simply devine.“
“K-Town Snack bar has hot dog corn dogs and cheese corn dogs that are both amazing! I love the hot Cheeto dusted beef corn dog and the fried potato cheese corn dog! One of my fav dishes is the Tofu which comes with rice, noodles, and salad, and delicious sauces, it’s like 3 different bowls in 1! The fried sweet potato is amazing, the Kimari is amazing, the Mandoo is amazing, try everything on the menu! The Owner and workers are incredibly friendly and make you feel at home! Don’t forget some nutella or custard gold fish for dessert on the way out!“
“As someone who loves Korean BBQ, I am saddened by the fact that Pittsburgh does not have any actual ‘true’ KBBQ spots (lots of great Korean spots, but none where you actually have the grill top at your table to cook the meats yourself - still waiting on K Pot!!). However, we get takeout from Green Pepper once a week and we love it. Great quality meats, best we’ve found so far in PGH (just wish we had the endless banchan ;)). We’ve never dined inside but from pics it looks like a cute chill spot. FYI every time we get our order it’s still piping hot (especially the kimchi stew) so the food travels well!! I get the grilled pork belly every time, and my husband gets the bulgogi. Both excellent options, both come with white rice and you can add kimchi and lettuce. The pork belly comes with a lot of jalapeños which I loooooooove!“
“First time trying this place and I really enjoyed it!! The food was great! Good flavor and awesome texture. The batter is tempura which is fluffy but crispy and then tossed in soy garlic sauce (also have a spicy version, but was nervous about the heat). With tax, this portion came to about $8, which I feel like was a great value. Food was made quickly and you could tell that it was made to order and super fresh! Def more of a quick bites / takeout vibe, but really enjoyed it!!“
“Absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I drove 1.5 hours out here for his birthday because we've always wanted to try Korean BBQ, this place did not disappoint! We did the bbq grill and also got tofu kimchi jjigae. Everything was delicious and our server was very attentive and lovely. We had a great time and we will be back again soon!“
“This is a really awesome location and interesting fusion restaurant-night club in Pittsburgh. The DJ was really awesome, the space was open and welcoming, the facilities were very clean, and the overall experience was good! The drinks were club-priced, but that’s to be expected. I will be back!Parking: Unsure what the proper parking is.Kid-friendliness: 21+ only at nightWheelchair accessibility: Actually wheelchair-accessible, which is rare in Pittsburgh.“
“I've been to this location several times over the years and never had a bad experience. Everything is always fresh and they appreciate the business. I hadn't been there in a while and they still remembered me from my frequent visits. One of my favorite sushi places in Pittsburgh.“
“I love the original location, however this second location is a little more spacious. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is delicious Our order came out quickly. The bill is paid right at the table, which is much more secure and much speedier.“
“The location is an odd corner of downtown - but don’t let that discourage you! The owner is very nice, the restaurant is very clean, the food is authentic, and the ingredients are of great quality. We wanted to have a delicious meal before traveling to Korea for the first time and it was a perfect introduction. Thank you for a delicious dinner and all the well wishes!“
