I've been to Bao a couple of times to try out things on their menu. Both times I enjoyed what I had--Japanese style teriyaki chicken, hibachi rice, pork dumplings, and green beans--and the food arrived quickly. However, I don't think I'll be going back due to the service. It was quite busy during dinner time but there were multiple employees standing behind the counter, and it felt like we were bugging them by asking for a table. Beautiful food, great environment! So kind to us and to our 1 year old. We had soup dumplings, lo mein, and teriyaki chicken. We recommend all of them! You can also watch them making the delicious dumplings fresh!
I'm giving this place 3 stars but it's closer to 4. I'll tell you why. I think the food was great. I had the chefs special pork belly with veggies, very good!! Other things on the menu looked very authentic and I'd love to come on and try them. So why 3 stars? Well service is very mid.
