“They were open on Easter so we went there. Service was excellent. Food excellent - I had country fried steak and eggs with the potato casserole and my mom had blueberry pancakes, eggs and a variety of meats. And I really thought that the food would take a long time being that it was Easter but it didn't. Great experience.“

“If you are visiting the city or haven't checked this place out, add it to your MUST TRY LIST!!! Great service, atmosphere and the food was phenomenal! Highly recommend the Sandman which is basically a sampler of the meats with 3 side dishes. Brussel sprouts are roasted and have a balsamic type glaze on them. Collard greens were also very good. 2 BBQ sauce options on the table. Jesse was our server and he was great, so ask for him if you go.“
“Different little place to eat. Personally, I feel like portions seem a little small for the price but the vibe in there is cool and the food is good! Service when we were there was great. Sweet tea was good also! I want to go back to try the brunch.“
“Probably the best meatloaf I've ever had. The portion was very sizeable and the price was amazing. The people working there was very very friendly. I waited for my take out and they treated me like I was a regular. The mini cornbread was ridiculously good. I could eat a dozen and not blink an eye. I will definitely be back.“
“Some of the best food in town, freshly made, flavorful and absolutely delicious. I’ve traveled more than 4000 miles and every time I’m in the city this is where I want to make my first stop. The wings and shrimp are absolutely my favorite and the fries are delicious every time. The staff is cordial and really nice. If you have never tried it I pity your soul, do yourself a favor and go get some!“
“Did delivery. Ordered the Drumsticks with Hot Honey, Hushpuppies with Comback Sauce, and Homemade Biscuits with Blackberry Jam and Honey Butter. I was a huge fan of the Drumsticks. Cooked perfectly, not overseasoned. Could argue slightly underseasoned, but would take away from the hot Honey. Great pairing. The Hushpuppies were overcooked, so I can't really judge how good they were. The Comback sauce saved them, that sauce is on point, wished the hushpuppies weren't overcooked. The biscuits were also somewhat overdone. I feel that the Blackberry jam was a tad too tart. I didn't taste the honey in the honey butter. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good, either. I am encouraged with the potential, though. I will give them another shot.“
