For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. Smart little restaurant with great food.
Absolutely phenomenal. Food is delicious and creative. The service was great. I really enjoyed the shrimp ceviche with the pickled grape leche de tigre (sounds strange but holy cow it works so well) and the passionfruit cheesecake which had a nice blend of creamy, sweet, and tart with all kinds of interesting texture from the brittle and meringue. Lilith is a seafood restaurant with a good vibe and spot-on decoration. The menu is short and sweet, perfect for seafood lovers, and features locally sourced ingredients. The dishes are cooked perfectly, especially the oysters, octopus salad, and autumn squash raviolis with mushrooms. While portion sizes are small and prices are high, the desserts are beautiful and delicious. The cozy, upscale atmosphere, friendly staff, and fantastic service create a lovely dining experience. The fancy lobster rolls, beef filet, ravioli, rosemary focaccia bread, and desserts are highly recommended. Overall, Lilith offers a fantastic evening with great food and a welcoming atmosphere that is worth seeking out.
