Donatello’s Pizzeria & Grill Abbottstown

I normally don’t write reviews , however this place is a local Gem and deserves such a wonderful review. I didn’t even realize they were there and we happened to give them a try . So glad we did . Their prices were so reasonable and affordable , and the food was amazing . I have 5 young daughters and they said it’s the best pizza they ever had . I couldn’t even get a pic of them they were eating so fast. The wings are phenomenal, and the fries were so on point. I’m fairly confident their croutons on the salads were homemade as well. The pizza tasted so good, by far my new favorite go too! The owner saw us trying to cut the pizza into smaller pieces for my two year old twins, he actually came over and sliced the pizza into small bites for them to help me out feeding my family and then turned the TV on in the corner to a Disney movie so my girls could enjoy it while eating. He genuinely cares about the quality and taste of food they put out as well as his customers and their family’s . He even offered my girls popsicles for dessert! I love this place and highly advise anyone local or heading past to stop in. All the food we had was so on point and my family now goes their and agreed as well! It’s truly a hidden gem in the area !!

Owner is top notch and outgoing. Will explain his food and makes you feel welcome. Small business that could use local support. With a larger location and staff his menu would be larger. I tried an off menu item that was great!

Food was great! Wings were excellent! We spent between $10-$20 per person, but that included a large pepperoni pizza, 12 piece wings, french fries, garlic bread, and drinks. A great deal!

Kid-friendliness: They turned on Despicable Me 4 while we dined-in with our children

I had no preconceived notions whether this was going to be good or bad, as I have never eaten here before. We ordered delivery. My wife an I had decided to try it out after hearing so much about Donetello's. I had the stromboli and it was great and huge serving. Wife had a hot sub and she was quite pleased also. My daughter had a cheeseburger on the ciabatta bread and it was also great. I see some of the old reviews and I am quite pleased that the new ownership has apparently made changes for the good. We will definitely eat here again!

my boyfriend and i had been wanting a new pizza/sub shop to go to and i have to say for the price and quality it’s a win. probably one of our new favorite stops to eat at. both our subs were great and we really enjoyed it!

Friendly staff and good food

A tiny little pizza shop in Abbottstown that hand-tosses its pizzas. The staff is amiable and makes ordering easy. You can either dine in or sit at the outside tables. The food is delicious. My family had chicken Fingers, fries, and cheeseburger subs. The fries were crispy and fresh. The chicken tenders were golden brown and cooked to perfection. The cheeseburger sub was well-cooked and packed with fresh toppings. We are delighted with everything and look forward to trying out more items from their menu.

Kid-friendliness: The staff here are so friendly. My toddler was very rambunctious and didn’t want to stay sitting. The staff made fresh pizza dough and let us watch the process. My toddler loved watching the staff toss the dough in the air. They got into making it a show for us. This sweet gesture made the time pass quickly as we waited for our order.

I just found this little shop. The staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious. My family of four enjoyed chicken tenders, fried chicken, and cheeseburger subs. The fries were crisp, and the tenders were perfectly golden brown. We will be eating here again.
