The lamb was dry as a bone. No flavor.
Servers were incompetent.
Never again!

This is a great restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was incredibly friendly and helpful. The ladies there were so nice, kind and polite and helped us navigate the menu. My son enjoyed his chicken and I enjoyed my lamb. A little pricey but worth it. Falafel was great too, will be coming back for sure.

Incredible flavors, heartfelt service, and a must-visit for Middle Eastern cuisine lovers!

Ayat Allentown delivers an unforgettable dining experience with its authentic Palestinian dishes, warm hospitality, and beautifully inviting ambiance. From the first step in, the aromas and decor transport you straight to the heart of the Middle East.

We tried the Fattat Lamha and Kabsa, and they were nothing short of exceptional. The Fattat Lamha was rich, hearty, and layered with savory goodness — tender meat, creamy yogurt, crispy pita, and fragrant spices all came together perfectly. The Kabsa was equally impressive — beautifully seasoned rice with tender meat, infused with warm spices and served with a tangy sauce that brought everything to life.

Every dish felt like it was made with love. Portions are generous, and the presentation is stunning. From appetizers to dessert, the menu is filled with vibrant, soul-satisfying options. The Knafeh at the end was the perfect sweet finish.

Whether you're looking to explore Palestinian cuisine or already love it, Ayat Allentown is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return and try more!

Delicious food and service

We were really excited to find a Palestinian restaurant and didn’t mind driving 40 minutes to get there. As soon as we walked in, we were a bit overwhelmed by the strong aroma of food and the restaurant’s vibrant decor. It was packed, but we were seated fairly quickly. Despite how busy it was, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

The restaurant has an open kitchen, which might bother some people, but we didn’t mind.

The food was delicious, with generous portions, and we had no complaints about the quality. We were also thrilled to learn they’re originally from NYC, and since we were visiting PA at the time, we’ll definitely be checking out their NYC location next time.

the mixed appetizer platter was really yummy and so was the vegan platter and the lentil rice was really good. both the cauliflower and the eggplant were so good.

the zataar Margherita pizza was terrible!! so bad!! idk why they serve this but something felt like it had soured (gone bad?) either the cheese or the tomato sauce?

I would go back but would stick to the tried and true things. the service was just okay. the servers kept forgetting to give us things we ordered. however they were really nice and seemed understaffed. the inside of the restaurant was smoky so we sat outside but there's a lot of mosquitos.
