To all our amazing customers,Effective June 23,2021 we will be closed until further notice. Over this past year due to the pandemic we have faced many difficulties: staffing issues and other precautionary’s, as well as a family emergency that have arose. Our staff and ourselves have been under an immense amount of stress and pressure to fill in all hours of operation and to provide the satisfaction you deserve when coming to dine with us. We would like to take this time to handle our family matter, as well as recuperate physically, mentally and emotionally. We can only ask so much from our staff who have worked tirelessly during the pandemic with limited staff members. We appreciate, and thank you for your understanding, compassion and support through this time. When we open back up we will return strong and more committed to serve our guest. We will keep you updated on our reopening day. Thank you all again for your love and support. With love, Bellissimo Ristorante

Food was amazing. The service was slow. Seemed to be short staffed. Wouldn't have been so bad if they had kept up with our drinks. Staff was polite.Owner asked a table to please keep their child a little quieter, at times it was nails on the wall, the father made a huge deal out of it, cursing as they left. Owner apologized to us. We sided for the owner, if you bring a child to a restaurant, you need to pay attention to them and bring with you toys, etc. I didn't even see a diaper bag.We had the Mozzarella Salad for an appetizer, yum! We each had a different entree, triple yum and the garlic knots were incredible! We can't wait to go back. Oh, if you eat outside, there is a gorgeous working fountain.

The food was absolutely amazing. I felt as though I had walked into my grandparents house for Sunday dinner!!! The smells coming from the kitchen were incredible. My favorite were the gnocchi dishes and the meatballs!! Oh and can't forget the garlic rolls!!

The food was very good and the selection was extensive. Unless one can sit outside, I would not recommend the restaurant since it was uncomfortably noisy.

I have tried several Italian places in Pennsylvania, and although some were decent (and some were not) they weren’t like New York Italian places, which cannot be expected. All of those places had nice and friendly people and were nice places, but this place beats it all. The environment, staff, AND FOOD. It is truly amazing, and this is coming from a picky Italian. The staff was so kind to us and I have not one complaint. Even the marinara sauce, which usually I am extremely picky with, this place NAILED it. 10/10 would recommend this place, and I cannot wait to return!

I have been eating here over 10!years and my dinner tonight was not worth the 70.00 plus dollars I paid for it... there was absolutely no sauce on my chicken bellisimo and the roasted red peepers were very very dry... I will be reevaluating if I order again...

We had called the restaurant in advanced and tried to make a reservation for our party of 11 of two tables a few days prior. The restaurant said they only do first-come first-serve. We asked if there may be an issue of getting the two tables on Saturday April 10. They said no. Part of our party arrived at 6:45 PM and said that the others would be arrive at 7:30 for the second table. At this point, there was no communication saying that this was a problem. Our food arrived at 7:30 and so did the second table who were a group of young high-functioning autistic adults. The owner refused them to be allowed into the restaurant even though their Moms were waiting for them at the table. This was very distressing to them because they felt discriminated against. After many harsh words, the young adults were allowed in and were told they had to wait an hour for food. The server then finally suggested water and bread while they wait. It was especially upsetting since this restaurant is beside the Center for Independent Living who gives them a lot of business and helps disabled people. Shame on Bellissimo!

Nice ambience with outside seating. Food was excellent and service great. I judge a place also by cleanliness and it passes the test!

I called in for a takeout order. They told me 60 minutes. I arrived right around or a little after the one hour mark. I was greeted by the hostess who was extremely overworked. She must have been handling four or five checks for the outdoor dining area. They seem to be extremely understaffed. As I sat there waiting I noticed a busboy who was extremely tentative and was bouncing back and forth between all the tables inside. It seemed like they only had one waitress though. The couple to my right said that she walked by at least eight times before they finally decided to say something. Another couple sat patiently for their check Before They too had to say something (to order). All the while I sat there waiting another 15 minutes at least. I think that my food was probably ready but there was no one to go get it. Fortunately, it was still hot and quite delicious. I got the linguine with basil sauceand shrimp.I was confused because there was huge spinach leaves in it and the sauce was quite mild and lacking on shrimp. It came with their garlic bread which equaled to an entire basket that you would receive in the restaurant. The salad was blah. Huge chunks of onion, cucumber and tomato. The portion of the spaghetti was humongous. So for your money's worth it was on point. Definitely enough for two people. I certainly could not eat it all in one sitting. I actually found it quite surprising that the next day with all the flavors sitting that it tasted so much better. It was just a lot of pasta and not a lot of anything else. I would be willing to try something else on the menu considering the portion sizes. Maybe next time actually eating there to experience that. The outdoor dining area looks quite nice.
