I was recommended this place at a fancy vegan dinner party and now that I've visited, I have to wonder—what do THEY know about this kind of food? Was traveling through the area, and I got the dengu, collards, cabbage, fufu, chickpea samosas, masala fries and a fresh juice. I went to a nearby park to eat before hitting the road again and had to double back to get the okra soup. I figured who knows the next time I'll be in this area and what are the odds of ever again...

This place is a whole vibe. The fufu was soft and fresh, and the egusi? Straight up packed with flavor — rich, a little spicy, and just feels like it was made with love. You can tell they know what they’re doing in that kitchen.

The staff was friendly too. No pressure, just good energy and good food. Felt super chill and welcoming. Definitely one of those spots you wanna keep coming back to.

I had the jollof rice and fish. The lady there gave my spice sauce in a separate small container. That shows so much consideration even though I personally love spice! Be warned! That spice is extra spicy! Even a spice lover like me felt the wrath. 🥵🙂
