One and done given the 3.99% credit card charged by establishment that came as a surprise when receiving the check. At no point was this mentioned. One tries to support local businesses but they in turn don't support the patrons. Food was okay not great but a place I would have returned once in a blue moon.

Service was okay, a bit awkward. We'd sat down placed our order. Waited for our food , the whole time being stared at. My family complained about that, the place was okay but no one wants to be staresd at while eating. The restaurant is in a bad spot and it wasn't busy. It was quite empty a few were eating including ourselves. There were more takeout than eating in. The looks loos walked by but seemed they were not interested. The other spots were super busy and livelier. As for the food, monfongo , eh okay , I wouldn't order monfongo with chicken. They use baked chicken instead. Of chicken cracklings. There beans were very watery and bitter. It'd gave us heartburn both my husband and I. Tables very small , if you have a larger party, you will be very comfortable. Everything else overall it's okay but a bit pricey.

Went there today before going to Wind Creek to play some Slots. We stumbled upon this place right before the pandemic and fell in love with it. This was our first time back since then and it did not disappoint. The food is outstanding and the people that work there are fantastic. We will be back probably in a few weeks. If your anywhere in the area the historic downtown area of Bethlehem Pa is is quaint but beautiful. All you have to do is top it off with a delicious meal from Casa Del Mofongo and maybe some winnings from the casino and you had a great day.

Only one visit for takeout but it is the real deal for Caribbean/Dominican food. Had the Family Chicken Package1 that fed my wife and I for 2 meals each. I also had the chicken mofongo and my only suggestion is that they make caldo/broth one of the side dressings for it. As we are just getting into the warmer weather, I hope to return and sit down for a meal, possibly at one of their sidewalk tables. It is also reasonably priced. Nice area too!

The restaurant was clean and felt open even though it's not a huge space. The servers were all inviting, kind, and amiable. I had the mofongo (sweet plantain) with chicken; it was tasty and plentiful.

The flavors were OK. I order two different mofongos. Chose green plantains but both were a little sweet, which is not what I ordered. They did not mark the containers, so we had to guess which one was which. Also ordered 2 empanadas. One cheese, one chicken. They also did not mark the bags, so once again, we had to guess. It seems like the dough was store bought and not made by them. Based on the price (almost 40 before the tip) I expected better quality. Will not be returning.

Absolutely excellent!!! This was our first time trying and it won't be out last. We had roasted chicken, yellow rice and gondules, plantains, tostones, yucca boiled, beef & cheese empanadas, and chicken empanadas. Everything was delicious! And the portion size was plentiful. Really like the packaging as well. I also appreciate the customer services. I had my children in the car. So when I arrived, I called to see if someone was able to meet me at the door and they gladly did. Overall very very good.

Nos encantó! ! Excellent presentation and service. We had the empanadas (chicken and shrimp), the sampler and the mini-tri mofongo. Wow, everything was delicious.

So the place is clean and nice size. Ordered the filled of fish with green plantains. Other food ordered tri plantain sides with bean stew. The bean stew and the fish were excellent. The fish had a sauce the was very flavorful. The side meal of the different plantains plus the other thing mixed in with it ( cannot recall name it has the same name as the restaurant), was very tasty. Portion sizes are good and the help extra good. I would recommend this place no problm

Food was amazing. I got the lunch special ribs with yellow rice. Ribs fell off the bone barbecue was perfect. My fiancé ordered a pork mofongo she said was good but the sauce it came with wasn't all that and we shared sweet plantains and a beef and cheese pastellio. The mayoketchup was really good everything was well seasoned and fresh i would definitely eat here again!

An awesome addition to downtown Bethlehem. Some of the best Latin American food in the area, and the spot is too cute. The mofongo is good but I dream of the empanadas, especially the shrimp empanadas. It's not the easiest place to be a vegetarian or a pescatarian but even if there are relatively few options, they are really delicious!
