Family Restaurants near Allentown, PA

“Will not being going back after my husband and I recent visit. After being seated and waiting more than 15 minutes to be waited on while a waitress walked by us twice ignoring us and two other couples came and were seated near us and were waited on right away, we walked out! No one said a word. Another turn off, there obsessed with vacuuming and sweeping the floor. Yes l like a clean restaurant but not vacuuming or sweeping done by our table while were trying to have a peaceful meal and dust blowing around in the air. Wont be going back.“

“Located inside the Americus Hotel. I only had breakfast here, so I'm not sure how other aspects of the menu fair. I'll say the service was probably the best thing about my experience. Everyone was friendly and did a great job when it came to service. It was consistent from day to day. There's a self-service coffee station which isn't ideal for a restaurant but that's just my opinion. The coffee was average. The breakfast menu options are fairly decent. We ordered omelettes your way one day and eggs over easy the next day. Everything was made correctly. Flavor was good. For a hotel breakfast, I'd say it was on the upper end of average for the price point. I felt like because of the hotel's historic nature, there might have been more chef-prepared unique or local meals but that wasn't the case. I would still come back when staying at the hotel for the convenience and service level.“
