This is definitely my favorite place in the valley for Jerk chicken. I really hope they’re not permanently closed. I’ve been itching for my jerk fix. Just know, Michael is waiting patiently for you guys to come back!!

So My Co- Workers and I had a taste for some Jamaican/ Caribbean food, so we decided to give “ISLAND BAY GRILL” a try and I have to say it was the Best Jerk Chicken that, I’ve had since moving from Philly 3yrs ago to Lehigh Valley. It has been super challenging trying to find GOOD Jamaican food in this area. Nothing like Grilled Jerk . Their sauce was ok but the chicken itself was Good. The Cabbage looked good and was not bad either, the rice was just ok, the Mac& Chz needs some work, the plantain were good. The Service was good and the inside was nice and clean. I / We would go back again. So if you have a taste for Some Jamaican food give them a play, let me know what you think. Again it’s nothing like my Caribbean spots in Philly but it did hit the spot for lunch. Oh one of my Co- Worker’s had the Jerk Loaded fries, sorry I did not get a picture of that dish,they said it was ok as well

Food was great! And the portions were exceptional. Oxtails could've been cooked just a bit longer but everything else was amazing!.
As fellow jammaican if we could just learn courtesy and customer service we would have so much more support and our restaurants (ja) would be so much bigger instead of always these tacky in and out locations. Just one phone call to this place and I wouldn't enter for them to serve me any food

Ordered 2 jerk platters today…food was great! I got the cabbage and my gf got Mac n cheese. Both sides were great but the jerk itself was top tier…will definitely be back. Customer service service was great as well…thank you!

Found a jewel in Allentown that serves “bussin” Caribbean foods. I came to know about Island Bay Grill and Caribbean Restaurant from a friend. The GPS lead me to a very nice rootsie restaurant, with top notch service and good vibes.The staff was very open to answer any questions I had about the dishes, and truly impressed me with the cooking skills.I mos def plan to be a regular customer for food like this, it’s hard to find a restaurant that truly knows how to cook real real authentic Caribbean food.Now that I found this one me naw let it go!Hats off to Anna for doing the dam thing! Keep up the good works daughter!!Blessings

I live in Canada and I visited this restaurant and the food here was amazing the atmosphere was great the cleanliness on point, service A1, im Jamaican born and raised I'm very picky when it comes to jamaican food because everybody now a days wants to open a restaurant thinking they can cook and I'm tired of wasting money but island bay grill you out did yourself it taste just like back home im actually impressed the Oxtail was so good and it definitely wasn't salty the flavors chefs kiss. When I come back to the US to visit, I will Def be back.

The atmosphere is great and service also.But the food was not it. I ordered a large oxtail and white rice and it cost 21 dollars. Imagine ny disappointment in tasting the food and its salty. I'm jamaican so re the saltiness the other flavors were overpowered. I did call the restaurant to let them know that this was the case. The young lady stated "no one has complained about that today.... . but next time they would give me something on the house". The response for accountability wasn't satisfactory in my eyes. There won't be a next time for me.Great spot nonetheless.....but the food needs to be tasted while cooking it.....
