The owner is a mentally unstable entitled whack job
Save yourself a bad experience and go to Dunkin or Starbucks
I walked into the place seeing the owner belittling and harassing his employees so bad i even felt the hostile work environment simply as a customer.
I am a customer service auditor of my own business and I wouldn't recommend this place as I felt threatened with my own life as I walked in.
If I was the employees I would get an employee rights lawyer for multiple laws being broken by the owner.
Every time I go to Ms. Velvet’s I know I’ll be greeted with wonderful service and delicious coffee. My go to beverage is a latte and I’m yet to taste one I don’t like. It is always a pleasure visiting the employees of Ms. Velvet’s. The owner Carlos is such a kind human who is constantly giving back to the community. The breakfast here was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was great. The food was really good, and the seasoning on the steak made the whole breakfast sandwich. Staff is super friendly and very respectful, food beats all expectations. The bagels were FRESHHH and the coffee was on point. Customer service was BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL. The coffee was the best. Every single time the food is just so good. You will have great satisfaction while eating here and will definitely be your new favorite spot.
