Simply Smooth provided the catering for my husband's surprise 60th birthday party and David and his team were fantastic, easy to work with, and ensured that every part of the event went smoothly. I had many many compliments on the superb food, with people asking who the caterer was, which usually doesn't happen! We had an extended appetizer portion with passed hors d'oeuvres, and the staff was friendly yet unassuming and brought food to people in every corner of the space! We choose buffet style for the remainder to the event and his staff made sure the trays were refreshed and plentiful. We had a larger then expected RSVP, and David adjusted our quantities ahead of time with no trouble. You can't go wrong with this team and with any item you pick from the menu. Can't wait for another excuse to use them!

From the planning process to the end of night service you and David's team went above and beyond. We had an outdoor tent wedding on my parents' property and we envisioned a family style meal. We worked with David to combine his picnic menu with his wedding menus to create something that we couldn't have even dreamed about. We had fried chicken, brisket, mac and cheese, cous cous salad, roasted vegetables, and cornbread. For the cocktail hour we did the typical passed cocktails and a seafood boil. Go for the seafood boil! We did that instead of a charcuterie because David said the cheese would sweat in the heat. It was the best decision--it looked amazing (a HUGE serving bowl) and guests loved it.
