I've ordered for takeout and they certainly did not disappoint. They took my order just a few minutes before closing, so that was real nice of them. The sushi rolls were delish.
Update: I went for lunch recently andI have to say the food truly is yummy. The attention we got from Alex was so great , that's enough to keep coming to this place regularly. The ambience is wonderful as well.

Ume Asian Cuisine was a great place. The staff are SUPER friendly! Most of them eve speak Spanish. The service was very attentive and prompt. Food was great, fast and hot. Free dessert on the house too. It was a group odb2 adults and 4 older children. We spent $200 plus tip. It was during the week on thrusday. Restaurant was super clean and lots of space at the tables.

Located in downtown Allentown, Ume is walkable from the many surrounding office buildings. Food delivers beyond expectations - not greasy or overly salted. Polite, prompt attentive staff make this a lunch hour destination. The choices of Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes will please most palates.

By far the best sushi restaurant in all of the Lehigh Valley. Warm and friendly atmosphere with high quality chic decor in a very modern style. The food is presented exquisitely with a variety that can’t be found anywhere else in the tri city area.

Tasty take-out! We went with crab rangoons, dumplings, and sesame chicken. Everything was very good. Staff was very friendly when we went to pick up the food and the restaurant looked very clean. Living downtown, we have seen this space be multiple restaurants and we hope this one sticks around! We will be back (frequently)!

place looks nice haven’t tried the food yet but the lady at the register is pretty rude and she looks pretty miserable. dont get mad at me cause you hate your job.

I went for lunch and was seated immediately. The sesame chicken which was perfect, came out like 2 minutes after I ordered. The staff refilled water without asking, checked in just the right amount of times, was punctual. The atmosphere was bright and clean. Honestly one of the top three Chinese food experiences I’ve had and the price was right. I highly recommend.
