Plain cheese you can not go wrong, very solid. They do not hold back on the cheese which costs the shops the most money. They are known for cheese, we all appreciate it.

This is our first time ordering Aiello's, and it definitely will not be our last. The pizza was great and I was not at all disappointed.
Some of the best pizza in Pgh. Their prices can be borderline insane ($6 for a few globs of ricotta?!) but otherwise it’s a staple for me. Highly recommend the white!
I recently moved here and I’m having a hard time finding a good pie. This place has ok dough if you like it gewy and the sauce had 0 taste. I ordered the traditional plain small. I’m in search of a good ny style pizza so if anyone has any good recommendations, please point me in the right direction. I’ve tried so many places and the best place so far is in the strip district named “ Colangelo's Pizza”. Very fresh ingredients and fantastic spice.
We always get the same thing and it’s amazing every time! White pizza, red pizza, salad with their house Italian and two turners. We go to both locations, also!!
Originally went to the Aiello shop in Sq Hill and was usually satisfied with the food there. But I live north of Pgh and was thrilled when this shop opened in Shaler. Always have pleasant helpful people waiting on me. Love the pizza especially with pepperoni, on top. Lately we’ve tried sausage and Italian hoagies, breadsticks, awesome onion rings, and pepperoni rolls. One is better than the next one.
Have gone to many different pizza places and been mostly happy with them.
But this Aiello’s in Shaler is by far the best and we’ll be ordering from them from now on ! Hope they’ll be out here forever.
