So everything really is awesome but let’s talk about that fried shrimp app for a sec. Without question the best fried shrimp you will find anywhere. Barely (if at all) seasoned out of the fryer and they let the sauces do the hard work. Absolutely perfect. . I prefer the chili one but all are phenomenal. The pizza is also INCREDIBLY underrated. Can’t lose going here either in or take out. Just one guys opinion. I’ve not eaten through the menu but the shrimp, burgers, pizza, fish sandwiches have been great.

I'm not a negative person, and this is hard to write because I have really enjoyed Barrel Junction in the past.

Unfortunately tonight will probably be my last.

First: we didn't receive a children's menu for our seven year old, idk maybe they were out of kids meals? No worries, we've had the pizza in the past, it was always good...

Regrettably the pizza was severely undercooked possibly as a result from way too much cheese. After pulling the first slice a vast majority of the cheese came flowing off the pizza and eventually became a congealed blob.
The extra weight of the cheese didn't let the dough rise and kept most of the inner portions of pizza raw. I feel like they could cut half the cheese and make a better product.

When we recieved the check there was a "surcharge 3.5%" no explanation. Is that for the wait staff? For using a credit card? Just more money for the owner? Who's to say.

We always considered Barrel Junction a "safe bet." Unfortunately that no longer seems to be the case.

One of the most coward owners I’ve ever delt with. Made me get between his blond bartender and him. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had working at a place. I wish him a week in hell for this ( Time served because he’s a kitchen guy). My advice to the coward is stay in the kitchen and let a real man and real manager run the bar. Get a deep dish pizza they are great!!!

Stopped in for a bite on the way to Hartwood acres. Nothing high-end but nice set of options - burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, salads. I had a tasty Nashville fried chicken sandwich. Excellent selection of craft beer on tap.

I got the $20 pig basket with ribs and pork and oh my, it was about as dry and as flavorless as you can get! Super disappointing and nothing like what I was expecting. The sides were microscopic and the drink menu didn’t have prices on it and we got two beers… which were $10 each. Our bill came out to $70!!! The service was wonderful though, but the delivery and food was horrible!! I’m never coming here again and would not recommend it to anyone unless you want to pay an arm and a leg, you’re better off going to Bergatory.

This place has always been one of my favorite go to places. However, I am completely disappointed with my current visit. The pulled pork sandwich tasted dry like it was sitting for a few days and the bun was hard. Also, the shrimp I ordered was not done. I also noticed that the The Knox parking lot next door was completely filled and the Barrel's parking lot was almost bare. I thought this is not a good sign. You guys better step it back up to the way it used to be. Bring the quality back or I'm afraid The Knox is going to take over.
