Hands down the BEST Italian hoagie in Altoona !My wife cannot eat dairy, most places forget my special order and its always a hassle on both ends. Not at Family's, the order is rght every time. We get food here once or twice a month.Always very friendly staff.10/10 recommend

Food was ok. Waitress was awesome!!! She waited on all the tables plus the bar. It was busy and there was another Waitress standing around talking on her phone!!!! Someone said it was the owner!!! I don't believe that was right, sorry but if your the owner you would think you would be out waiting on customers too. Bad business in my mind!!!

Steak sandwich was all lettuce and the fries were terrible and I used to love the food, but we spent over $40 for food for two and it was terrible tonight ?
Crystal was so helpful when we ordered and was a delight as our waitress! The food was So Good! We had both wings and pizza and I can't decide which I liked better! I think I found my new favorite wing sauce, mild garlic. It was a bit spicy with butter and garlic on top. Oh My Goodness, yes, thank you! Yumm!! We will definitely be visiting again. Both my husband and I highly recommend this place!

You can sit at the bar or a table, kids are welcome and everyone will be happy with whatever they order! They don't deliver, but you can order for pickup and it's done in about 20 minutes. I could eat their steak salads and breaded cauliflower every day!Parking: You can park in front, on the side, or in the back. There's a door in the front or the side.

My family and I went in there, nobody knowledge us whenever we walked in. No big deal, but then we sat at a table for 10 mins and still nobody knowledge us still but 2 ladies at the bar continued to talk to the same people they were whenever we walked in.
