Shame on y'all for taking away the cold subs. Not everyone likes hot meat. Went tonight and was told I can't get a cold sub. Won't be back.

Great food and great service. But as a customer I am tired of being asked if I’d like to “round up” and “donate to” whatever. It’s getting old as so many retailers are practicing this now. Because of this I hesitate to return. As far as tipping, the suggested tips were traditionally meant for the table service folks who can make or break a visit, not really for a checkout person. Should they be tipped, yes I’ll go along with that but I don’t want to see a suggested tip.

I’ve had Firehouse Subs in Illinois, West Virginia and Louisiana. This is a smaller store and I found it to be not nearly as clean as the other stores. I wanted to take a cloth and wipe off all the tables because no one, obviously, did that today. Floor needed to be swept as well.Disappointed in my sandwich ( pork and slaw) as the “meat” seemed to be ham and not the pulled pork I had in Louisiana

My first experience with Firehouse subs was an Italian. As I ate the sub in my office, I thought the ham tasted a little strange. Thought maybe it was just a different kind of ham they used. After being sick all night long, it became clear that their strange tasting ham was in fact BAD!!

I ordered thru grub hub. My hot subs soaky the bread was not crispy at all in fact the whole sub was cold would of been better if bread was toasted

Maybe it was a fluke but the Italian sub I had for lunch yesterday made me quite sick!! Up all night wishing I still had never tried them!

I really enjoy their food. The service is on top of things as well. I have to give them a lower review because the prices are now outrageous. The cheapest large sub is now $13 as of August 2023. The prices went up $2-3 per sub, and it's not worth it at that price.Disappointing is an understatement. I probably won't be back. This is as expensive as much better food now.

Another big chain Sub shop has opened its doors in town. In many ways it's similar to those we have already. They offer a list of specialty subs for customers to choose from. Prices vary depending on selection and size chosen but all are in the same ballpark. My selection, the Firehouse Hero, came in small (3-4" for $6.99, 7-8" for $10.99, and 11-12" for $14.29). A combo (small drink and 3oz bag of chips) can be added for $3.89. I went with the medium Sub and added the combo. My total was slightly over $15. The sub was tasty and I'd say better than either of the two other sub chain places. However it wasn't a great value for the $$. $11 for such a small sub is quite expensive. $15 for counter service fast food meal. For about $5-6 dollars more there are places with lunch time sit down table service with unlimited side of fries. There are several independent sub shop in town that are better value. Even Sheetz offers a 6" combo turkey sub with fries and a drink for $5.29. For the price of one lunch at Firehouse you can feed three at Sheetz. Yes I acknowledge that Firehouse is very tasty. Lots of meat choices, and sauce choices. One has to ask if the extra taste is worth the extra $$. In my case I'd say, yea, maybe once in a while but not on a regular basis. Great flavor and not so great value is about a 3 star rating.

The triple stack we bought did not have lettuce on them. Also they did not put three meats as advertised. They almost forgot one of our sides till my husband mentioned it on way out door. Not as content as we first were with the place. Not sure going back soon.
