Something I learned over the past 2 years is that green bean coffee house is an absolute blessing to the homeless community. Overflow church as well as other churches and organizations come together to host a warming center each night through the winter for the homeless and green bean coffee is one of those organizations that assist with it. The night I volunteered overnight, in the morning green bean donated hot breakfasts to all the homeless. They also allow you to pay for a coffee or hot cocoa in advance so that when a homeless person comes in, they can ask for one without question. I am so moved by their love and compassion for those less fortunate. Not to mention their food and coffee is delicious!

Terrible service today, I spent nearly 85 dollars on macarons and 1 latte, The girl that waited on me did not complete getting my macarons together but instead I patiently waited. I received my drink and I continued to wait as she waited on other customers. After about 20 min. I patiently got up and stood there, the young man making drinks asked if I recieved my macarons, she stated I get them for her. I stood some more, when a couple of young ladies ask her to wait on me, she said she has been waited on, I said are you going to get my macarons, she said I am waiting on other customers, I said I am a customer and I just spent quite alot of money on cookies and am I not important enough, she continued to refuse to help me until I ask for a supervisor. She told me the supervisor was in the kitchen too busy to talk to me. I said get him...she then told the young man to get my macarons. Im very unhappy with such treatment and won't be going back

drinks were sitting because the cashier was having a 10 minute conversation with the car infront of us although they ordered only one drink, no one else in the drive through besides me and the car infront of me and one car behind us. completely wasting other people’s time to have a conversation with someone since they knew them. very unprofessional and rude due to the fact it’s a drive thru which is supposed to be efficient.
I’m not gonna lie my wife, Starr has been buying the same (Hot Chai w/ whip and no cinnamon) for as long as the shop has been open. She goes there EVERY DAY for the same drink. She loves her barista and there’s no bad thing to say about the staff. My problem lies in the rewards. They’ve taken her number for years and said the rewards were ready in the new system. She was so upset when she had nothing. 1$=1 Star. Well this Starr has spent over 500$ over the years on that coffe and for her birthday all she wanted was a free few drinks because she’s obsessed. (I don’t get it but I love her and she was genuinely butthurt)
