Pizza was good. Service was great. And they have a pool table. Oh yea, imma try them out again. Only downside is the prices. The prices are comparable to other local pizzeria though.

If you know anything about NY style pizza, then you know it's hard to find a good slice around this area. Five stars to this place! Best NY style pizza since being in New York and New Jersey. Finally!

“ All right, Frankie…one bite, everybody knows the rules.” Very very good pizza! A little floppy. If you like thin crust, then you would love this. A little cross between date night pizza and football pizza. The place a pool shark vibe. Final score 8.1. That’s a good score. That’s a good, solid score.

HUNDRED HEAD
So I called this place after calling another place that was way too expensive for the size offered. But Heritage Pizza was offering larger slices at a competitive price so I went with them over the others. Plus I remembered that a family member told me that Heritage was very good and, in her opinion, the best pizza around. Now, if it wasn’t for recalling that conversation, I would have not even realized that they were in business at that location. My mind is still stuck remembering the Pal Minos Pizza that used to be there that has been gone for years now. Thus I usually think of vacant or closed in that area.So I go there and order the basic pepperoni pizza slices. These cuts were of good size and appetizing in appearance, with pepperonis that were of uncommon look. The pepperonis being slightly smaller but ultimately more flavorful and abundantly placed. Now when I got the pizza home it was still hot and I took a bite to find a thinner, crisp and excellent crust texture. The pepperoni tasted as good and as flavorful as it looked and everything was just about perfect. So I called it the Heritage ”Perfezionare”Pepperoni Pizza…. Because it lived up to the billing, didn’t disappoint and totally satisfied my pizza craving for dinner.Again this was my first time here. And there is only one time for first impressions. So these guys garnered accolades from me and, eventually, I will be back. Now some people complain about such and such in reviews. And I did find myself selecting Heritage because of a price issue elsewhere. But, truth be told, …..todays high prices are due to yesterday’s bad governance and fiscal policies. Hopefully that changes soon….like later on this year. But the decision I made to buy Heritage was the right one. I’m glad I went and I am sure most will have the same great pizza experience I did. There’s simply nothing to hate about the Heritage Pizza!!

Crust is great, NY, style thin and crispy bottom. Ordered extra cheese on the pizza felt like barely the normal amount.Scant toppings as well.Pricey at $20 + for a single large.Stromboli was full of muhrooms, again little cheese. Probably would not order again.
Excellent stromboli I also purchased sliced cheese pizza but I didn't eat any of the pizza. My son said it was delicious!

Recently moved to Altoona from NJ. This is the best Pizza out of the 5 places I have tried in town and I will be back. The thin crust has great flavor and the ingredients for the sauce and toppings are higher quality and it shows. The grated cheese is a difference maker too. The restaurant is clean. My only knock is that I wish the crust was baked a little crispier. However, I will be reheating some slices tomorrow and I expect that the pizza will be spot on like a NY/NJ slice I'm used to. Overall I really like Heritage Pizza. They really make an effort to make a good pizza and it shows.
