We will drive from Johnstown to Altoona any day of the week for Knickerbocker! Steven made our experience over the top amazing. His experience and personality made our experience so memorable and wanting to come back. Their food and drinks are truly top notch. Such a great experience!!

Knickerbocker is a staple in Altoona where you are guaranteed a solid mixed drink. However, recently they have upped the menu and all I can say is WOW. My cob salad was incredible. It was so fresh and unbelievably flavorful. The Ruben was delicious and their fries got even better with this upgraded menu. Still the same awesome vibes from the Knick but the cooks in the back are killing it! Their drinks also were solid we got an old fashioned and an expresso martini. And finished it with this delicious peanut butter pie we had to fight for the last bite all while outside on this gorgeous garden with good music. Don’t take my word for it though- go and experience it yourself. You won’t regret it!

Hidden Gem on our way back to Bellefonte! Stopped for a bite and a beverage.Great beer list for my husband “Heady Topper”. Food was good, old atmosphere! And our Server Jordan was awesome!! Would love to visit again !! Definitely recommend.

Great place to eat. Nora is an excellent server! The only issue I experienced was the beef used in the smash burgers, it had a funky taste and I only ate about 1/2 of that. The drinks and dessert of peanut butter pie was outstanding!!

Service was warm and friendly When I finished my glass of wine I wasn't asked if I wanted another, which was refreshing. There was enough food., The restaurant was crowded, but there was a table for two for us. We liked what we had, particularly., We had dinner here last night at the recommendation of our hotel concierge

A++ for the food!! Delicious and you definitely need to bring an appetite depending on what you get. My wife and I just returned home not more than 20 minutes ago from here for our first time and we are 100% going to return. I highly doubt you can find a burger like the one I had anywhere else locally. Thick, flavorful, and cooked to perfection! My wife had the club sandwich and took home most of it(she’s not complaining though). Noise level was a bit distracting but other than that, great place! Our server was fast, friendly and efficient as well so hats off to him!! Your place has gained 2 more customers for sure!
