Stopped in for lunch while visiting from out of town. From the outside, Knickerbocker has that neighborhood corner bar feel that seems to beckon you in for a cool one. Once inside the bar, though, the atmosphere is very 1920s probation era swank, bold burgundy painted walls, black and white photos of public figures, a very well stocked bar and a menu full of curiosities. I love places like this. The bartender was quite friendly and attentive, making small talk with the local lunch...

The turkey pretzel melt was fantastic, and the homemade chips were spot on. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Our group really enjoyed the outdoor courtyard dining.

Check out this almost-hidden gem with scrumptious food! If you are looking for a place with character, delicious food, and outstanding customer service, enjoy a lunch or dinner at Knickerbocker Tavern. From specialty small plates to filing entrees, there is something for you. Oh and with many speciality cocktails,wines and draft beers, you will find an adult libation to satisfy you. And if you are in to whiskey, talk to the bartender; they can placate you, I promise! ?
