Best home made spaghetti noodles and home made meatballs in Blair County...no question. Service is rough during the rush but they do a good job and trust me, its worth it.
Not an online troll and I have no idea what tweet you are talking about it’s just bad.
Delicious sauce
The food is absolutely amazing! Although I haven't had the chance to dine in yet, I’ve enjoyed some delightful takeout. It does take a few minutes for someone to bring it to you, but it’s all worth it—because the food is simply delicious! I can't wait to try it fresh at the restaurant!
We love Lena’s, best hidden gem in Altoona!
Absolutely classic Italian-American joint with incredible food. I've been coming here my whole life and the only thing Lena's has changed in that time is their salad bowls, and that's a very good thing. I rotate through the eggplant parm, stuffed rigatoni, or gnocchi, and I always, always get their ricotta gnocchi when they have it. Their homemade noodles are also fantastic, I just prefer short pasta. Get the salad with the house Italian, and always always get the meatball with your pasta! If you're going on a Monday or Tuesday it's pretty quiet, but be prepared to wait any other day, as this place is really popular and pretty small.
Review is for pick up and the food was SOOOOOO good!
Will definitely eat from here again. Had raviolis with meatballs. Love the marinara sauce! 👍😋
Wonderful, traditional Italian food. Marvelous house made sauce and dressing.
Called in to order dinner, was left on hold, and the person answering the telephone was rude, I believe it was Karen.
Karen also accused my father in law of not paying one evening, big surprise - he paid, and tipped adequately for the excessive amount of rudeness.
Other than that, the food is fine, it’s like going back in time to eat at an Italian restaurant, like the 80s.
They were very accommodating when it came to my sandwich request. Which was good, considering the other two items I wanted that were in the menu they don't make anymore.

You know who ain't been caught snitching? Lena's Cafe that's who. 5 stars keep it up.
Love Lena's. It's Altoona! Good food good service and you can't go wrong with homemade noodles. We eat here every time we are home. We love their cole slaw too.
$75 to try pretty a lot on the menu and enough to feed 4 adults plus three kids easily. Done in under a half hour at supper time. Prompt service, great food. Family owned.
First time here. Food had very good flavor, prices about average, but serving size was a little small than expected. Still a good value though and we will go back again.
