We traveled into town from Boston for the weekend and hosted a celebratory family dinner for 9 and a toddler on a Saturday night. From beginning to end the experience was excellent. They accommodated a late-in-the-day time change on the reservation. When our large party arrived, our table was waiting for us. Our server, Nicki, was particularly warm and efficient over the course of the evening. While the dining room is upscale and sophisticated, we were still able to watch the last quarter of the Penn State game- something our guests really appreciated. The cocktails and beers were great and every dish ordered was enjoyed including the arancini, Tuscan soup, eggplant parmigiana, and rigatoni with vodka sauce. I am so pleased we’ve found such a great new spot to dine in Altoona. We will be back!
Kid-friendliness: My 18 month old nephew joined us and we were made to feel very welcome. They provided a high chair, brought his food out first, and were gracious about what ended up on the floor.

Staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. Food was fantastic and all 4 beers that I had (flagship IPA, West Coast IPA, Pastry Stoudt, and Raspberry Gelato, sour) were winners. The food is made with fresh, traditional, Italian ingredients. Highly recommended!

A great new spot in Altoona. Atmosphere is very loud, there aren't any noise dampening features. Food is lackluster, the apps were bland, the desserts came out of a box. The beer was superior would definitely recommend just hope the food improves.

Altus is the spot if you're looking for an elevated night out. I love popping in for a drink at the bar before being seated for dinner. Their menu is unique and always delicious! My favorites are their arancini, lamb bolognese, and lemon cake. The service is top notch -- the servers are very knowledge about the menu and care about you and your party having an enjoyable dining experience. Altus is decorated beautifully -- love their trendy gastropub vibe!
It was a pleasurable experience dining at LifeStyle Altus. The food was exceptional as was the service. I highly recommend this restaurant for a very pleasurable dining experience. Without a doubt, best food in the area. Their beers are exceptional if you enjoy excellence in brewing.

So happy to have a restaurant in town that delivered on all facets...delicious and creative food, drinks in a great atmosphere and with parking! The truffle popcorn was a fun and delicious start. The Paloma was refreshing and the eggplant parm - delicious and plenty for leftovers. My hibby was a bit disappointed by the pizza, but he's still willing to go back. In short, I'm a fan!
