Great food and Mike is a great person. Get yourself a turkey stack on Wednesday, or a Roast BEAST (that's what I call it, it's huge) and his salads and dressing are A+

For me, it's the best place in Altoona. Everyone there is exceptionally friendly and they treat me like family. Love it there!

Mike is simply one of the kindest and easy-to-talk-to folk Ive had the pleasure of meeting. Mikes Court HANDS DOWN has thee absolute best FRIES within driving distance of Altoona. I would arm wrestle anybody who disagrees.

friendly neighborhood place with great service and outstanding food at unreal prices. I know that Mike would like to retire and spend time with his family, but he would be sorely missed.
This is a hidden gem in Altoona from FL but will make a special trip back. Great food.

Good old fashioned Altoona pub type atmosphere. Don't come here looking for white tablecloth service. Super friendly owner and staff. I recommend the roast beef sandwich. So good.
Hello Mike!
It's been a while, but I still have fond memories of my visit to Mike's Court in 2023. The food was excellent, but what stood out even more was Mike’s incredible hospitality. My brothers and I traveled from the Netherlands, and we had the privilege of signing one of the basketballs displayed in his court. If I ever find myself in Altoona again, I’ll be sure to stop by and say hello. Wishing you all the best.
PS: Still rocking that Altoona Lions shirt! Thanks again
We stopped in because we were in the area. First time visiting. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and hospitable. Great atmosphere for a meal or a few drinks.
Drove all over to find the place and it was closed even though it was friday night and supposed to be open.
10/10 . first time coming into a bar alone, and first time coming into a bar in a new home town for me. Yeah I was anxious, but everyone was amazing and it was a pretty good time. Got anxious at the end and heard my total was $17 and i gave them $40 and said keep it because i was too anxious to ask for $10 back lol. But yeah, if you’re new to the area, definitely would recommend.

If you have all the friends you need and you’re looking for a place to eat quietly by yourself, this isn’t the place for you. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy good food, watch some sports and make new friends, then this place is a must. The first friend you’ll make here is Mike, the owner. Mike will make you feel like you’re a guest in his home and he has a heart the size of Texas. The staff is amazing, service is super fast and efficient and all the food is amazing and reasonably priced. When you walk out the door, you will be full, happy and will have a smile on your face. You’ll feel like you just left a family dinner. Don’t hesitate to bring your parents or your kids, everyone is welcome! If you’ve never been here, don’t wait!
First time being there yesterday for our employee Christmas party & it won’t be my last . Food was delicious and Mike was such a happy, hospitable guy! Definitely seemed to enjoy his line of work .
Love this place

Mike (the owner) comes around and talks to you. He got you to sign a basketball if it is your first time. Food was great especially the french fries (very crispy).
