No 1 Chinese Restaurant

After finding hair in my food, I spoke to the manager and said that it was hair from a beard and that it was safe to eat, but I still had to pay for my food. I won’t be going back and neither should anyone else.

I'm so mad like SO MAD. I ordered food from here and it's the 2nd time they've done some Grimey stuff. The cashew chicken was literally less than a handful of chicken with NOTHING BUT CELERY!! I HATE CELERY! The last time I ordered I was charged 12 for rice that they never mentioned my meal came with rice. Last time coming here. ABSOLUTE LAST TIME!!!!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE... I asked for the sweet honey walnut chicken... I asked for light sauce and sauce on the side... As they put way too much sauce on top... It is cold sauce to begin with because it's supposed to be cold on top of hot chicken... How would you like to have a bucket full of cold sauce on your hot chicken? I called and asked him about it and the woman got on the phone and she just kind of gaslit me to eat it pretty much.. I will never be ordering from them again and I spend good money there...until this As I didn't eat the last chicken because it had way too much sauce on it... This is just not good for texture and it tastes horrible... She was not willing to listen to me she just kept talking over me and said it's okay it's okay but it's not it is absolutely horrible and disgusting and my kids will not eat it and I'm not eating it and I threw it out and I spent $30... You can't argue with someone that's not willing to listen I wasn't trying to argue but I was just trying to tell her can she fix it and she didn't give me a chance to say that... So all I said was okay and that's it... Then she hung up.

Your delivery driver got an attitude at the door demanding a tip then mumbled something in another language will never order from there again. Here is a tip don't harass your customers........there are other places in Altoona to order from. Will never order from there again

It's a little dive that hard to find and only a take out place. The food is good though! Definitely better than the buffet next door to the Hobby Lobby

The food is always good and fresh and they actually know how to make decent Chinese food, probably the best in town. Having eaten and tried all of the options here and being from the east coast where Chinese food is very good. They are quick and friendly and I have yet to get the wrong order. So if you're looking for a great experience give these folks a try they won't disappoint.

Vegetarian options: They will make the food how you want with or without a meat option just ask them

Dietary restrictions: They will actually make specific items for you if you ask which is a great option for folks who are looking to enjoy food with care

This is the only Chinese place that serves the best Teriyaki Chicken in my opinion. I love coming here to order it every time I’m in the mood for it. Everytime I do come here it’s exceptional service, and almost always quick to get you what you need. I highly recommend No.1 Chinese over all the other Chinese in town!
