I sat at the bar and ordered food and a beverage with my husband. A drunk couple and their son were bumping into my husband and the lady was hanging over my husband’s seat while there was no room. I've been coming here on and off since opening experienced a few things but always came back. tonight our waitress was probably the best one we've had there. Ann Marie! she deserves recognition. checked on us, very pleasant and doesn't rush and takes her time with you. We hope we get her again! In the past service was always lacking. Not tonight!
After what they did in Pittsburgh with kicking patrons out I'll never go back

Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar offers excellent food and a good atmosphere with great service. Parking is available in a shared lot with Sam's Club, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. It is recommended for parties of 6 or less due to potential noise and service issues with larger groups. The Altoona location is known for its excellent customer service, ensuring a great time for customers.
The food is always good, and the service is usually great. However, some customers have experienced slow service, even when the restaurant wasn't busy. The staff, including bartenders and servers, are often praised for being professional, accommodating, and fun.
The menu features a variety of options, including the popular turkey and bacon tallboy sandwich and the capicola sandwich. Customers have had mixed experiences with the food quality, with some saying it's on point and others finding it to be just so-so. The restaurant's wings and pizza have also received mixed reviews.
The atmosphere and decor have a Pittsburgh and local Altoona flavor, making it a great place for a date or a few adult beverages. However, the restaurant can get extremely crowded during busy times, such as NCAA football, March Madness, NFL Sundays, and when college students are in town. It's best to avoid the restaurant on State Patty's Day, unless you enjoy large crowds.
