Needed to contact customer service about a return of a mattress in a box. They will not answer the phone. The mattress is defective and would not flatten out. They only give me the option to return it to the store. If I could return it, I wouldn't have had to buy a rolled up mattress to begin with! ANSWER YOUR PHONE!

This review is for the Altoona optical center. My husband had an appointment at 12:45. Upon arrival there were 3 girls sitting at the desk that were clearly irritated to be disturbed. He told them he was there for his appointment. One of them said the technician called off today and they are cancelling his appointment. When asked why they didn’t call they said they tried to call everyone. My husband said there was no call and one them said they talked to someone this morning. This was clearly a lie. They have his cell number and no one called! We drive 1 hour each way. They have such terrible attitudes each time we are there. We are done with Sam’s Optical.

Horrible experience there tonight. I was there with my elderly father. only to find out their membership card expired yesterday. He only had cash on him. He did not have the funds to renew their membership right there. luckily our so I thought, a friend of mine was behind us. she offered her card. she scanned it and I started running thru his purchases. a extremely rude worker came over yelling at us telling us that it was aganist privacy policy to allow that. she yelled at my father, which is unacceptable. my friend was willing to run our packages with hers and this also wasn't allowed. really??? the card clearly expired yesterday!

Sam's Sunday hours are open til 6:00. We did our shopping & my husband went to order a pizza as I was checking out at 5:50 & was told the pizza ovens were shut off.... very unprofessional! We are paying an annual fee & hours are posted & they should abide by their hours!

I really like Sam's club but lately is is uncomfortable. My last week visit I was approached by a gentleman who did not introduce himself or why he stopped me. He asked me about what cell phone carrier o had. We have both Verizon and ATT. He accused me of making that up. Really?! You can't have both? I asked what it is he wanted and he became defensive actually scoffing at me. I told him that I came to shop and was busy. He snapped that he was only trying to save me money. Not professional at all! Several employees were standing about complaining about working. I came to get birthday cakes. The bakery is super. Employees are pleasant and polite and cakes are delicious. Unfortunately a friend got a cake earlier and her child's name was misspelled and the writing was a mess. Self checkout staff are always pleasant and helpful. The card checks need to be consistent. One day they check and it causes a pile up because some days they check and some days they don't. Other customers have commented the same when entering.

Very disappointed in sams club. I signed up for an early shopping and paid more only to find out they don't let us shop early anymore! Sams mislead customers! Shame on them! I talked to the manager and he was no help!

I used to love shopping here. I've been a member for over 20 years. As a plus member you use to receive special deals and early hours. A few years ago they started to give the special deals to everyone. I found out yesterday the no longer have early hours for members. Not only did the get rid of the early hours they now stock the shelves during the day. Genius idea. So now you have to actually wait in line to get out do to so many people you also have to wait to go down isles because they are stocking shelves. This use to be a great store. No longer. Don't waste your time or money.

My wife and I like to shop early before the store gets crowded. So we got a Prime membership several years ago so we could make the 7:00 AM opening time. We arrived there at our usual time this past Wednesday to find opening hours changed to 9:00 AM. Due to this change along with several other changes, I will not be renewing my membership card. Although I spent an average of $150 to $200 a month, the present management is only interested in customers that own businesses and spend large amounts.
