We drove 45 minutes just to have this for dinner, and we were not disappointed! Great service. Amazing food! The staff recommended the chili chicken appetizer, and it was so good! The mango lasse is the best I've had!
We stopped on our way to Buffalo. Really good food with authentic indian taste.

I ordered food from here twice and it sucked both times. They say its Indian cuisine but being an Indian and having worked in an Indian restaurant before, their food is not worth a penny.

We have just tried Taste of India for dinner. We ordered different dishes for takeaway. It is hands down the best Indian food we have ever tasted. We were all happily surprised with how well prepared all the different dishes, especially the butter chicken. The bread basket was extremely delicious. We usually don’t like spicy food and I asked for “very mild”, and the restaurant delivered exactly that. I wish them all the best and I am glad we have them as a choice here in Altoona.
Excellent service and delicious authentic Indian food!

The food was delicious and fresh. It's a nice change of pace from the same old, same old things around town. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

Literally a hidden gem in this city. Food was so delicious, and fresh, the smell of all the spices hit u as soon as the door opens. Definitely my new favorite spot!
The food was absolutely delicious. Full of flavor and comes out piping hot. Staff was so kind. Def

Ordered the goat curry and was mostly bones. For the price I expect a lot of meat and customers should be notified through their menu which dishes come with bones. There is no excuse for this. The person who took my order over the phone failed to tell me there is bones with the goat curry. Will not return and will go to a competitor.Reply to owner: I have dined at numerous Indian restaurants across the country who have served boneless goat curry. This does not excuse charging a high price for a dish that hardly had any meat, and not informing your customers beforehand that which of your dishes has bones in them.

I was very disappointed with the food at this restaurant. The appetizers were greasy, the rice dishes had an unpleasant odor, and the food lacked authenticity. It is unfortunate that people were excited about the prospect of an Indian restaurant in Altoona, only to be met with such a negative experience.Come on guys, you can do way better than this
