Stopped in to grab a quick bite as we were out of town for a baseball tournament. We got a few hotdogs to try. I had been once before on another trip but couldn't recall the experience. The hotdogs were good. I love a good chili dog. The locas were really helpful with recommendations and the staff was very friendly and patient. Once I got inside I remembered my last trip there. The experiences were consistent which is a good thing. We stopped in again before leaving...
Been here before a few years ago and wanted to give them another try. The service was good, fast and helpful. The atmosphere was kind of a western diner vibe, was clean and orderly. My wife and I ordered Texas dogs with the works and cheese on them, Vale Farms lemonade for drinks, she a side of onion rings and me a side of fried mushrooms. The hotdogs themselves were tasty but the Texas sauce was lacking in flavor and had a slightly sour taste like just a little too much...
I didn't love the Texas Dog. Not sure if I liked the brown mustard on it but that's a me thing. The quality of the dog was great and next time I'll just get chili cheese and I'm sure it'll be a home run. The Texas macaroni salad or whatever was fantastic. This place was definitely good food!
