Waited 30 min for a table, only to be seated at a extremely small table by an emergency exit door - freezing cold outside so very uncomfortable. Table was too small for us cuz my husband is a large man. Then between the bucket for peanuts, the self check out thing, condiments and menus, barely room for our meals and drinks. First visit - very dissapointed.

Used to be our favorite place, but now sat st tsble not nearly large enougb to be comfortable and rushed to order. My butt wasn't srttled on seat before they asked what I was drinking. I ordered a beer because I didn't even open drink menu. The booth across from us had the indignity to have a table extension. Wouldn't be so bad if the chair height was in line with the table. I felt bad for him. Not to mention it made him nearly sitting with us and busboys struggling to pass through. Not even close to the relaxing out to dinner feeling we strive for. At the price for that scenario...best to stay home

They always forget something with your order, chicken sandwiches are burnt to a crisp, steak order rare is cooked well done, food is over priced and not worth it. Would not be a bad idea to close down. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.😬

Ordered 6oz. Dallas fillet. asked for thick cut 6oz. cooked medium just the way I ordered last 2 times. Came out thin cut, medium well. Was told that "cows are bigger" therefore there hasn't been thick cut fillet for the past 3 years. Picture online and menu shows thick cut fellet. Another steak was made, thin cut medium rare. It was good. Service was not as good as in the past. Very inconsistent service and product.

I always enjoy going here. Our waitress was great! My sister in law asked for her steak to be rare and mine to be medium rare. When we received our steaks, my sisters was well done and mine was rare. We sent my sisters back and got it back to medium rare. The manager was super nice about it. I just don’t think we shouldn’t have to sent our food back.

Whoever the manager was on 12.26.24 at 3:30 was super rude when we had concerns regarding how our steak wasnt cooked right. I wanted medium 8oz and it was well done her response was sometimes it gets too hot and overcooked. Not even we can give you another steak nothing just simply its cooked wrong & walked away. Her manners and how she put her hands on the table and talked to us like children was unacceptable. We paid for our meal but didnt even eat it definitely a waste of $73. She acted like we inconvenienced her by telling her how our food was wrong. Havent been there in over a year & still not impressed.. we will stick with longhorn for a nice steak.

Service was poor. Had to ask multiple times for butter and served incorrect refills. Not very pleasant. Food was overseasoned and the rolls are getting smaller. The chili was good though. It's very very loud. Not good for conversation or those bothered by loud noise.
Poorest service I have ever experienced at a Texas Roadhouse. Sub-par food (steaks contained a great amount of gristle). We didn’t get the early half of our order until the entree was half eaten. Disinterested server who couldn’t manage to fulfill the order correctly or keep the meal flowing naturally, etc. Manager passed thru asking how everything was but kept moving and really didn’t take time to find out. No one seemed to really be concerned with quality. We will not return.

Getting skimpier on portions versus prior years. The last 3 times I've been there, They cook my steak wrong. I tell them when they take my order. I want my steak very rare, cold, mewing, and then show them a picture of stakes they've made in the past correctly. Then I inform them if it doesn't come out looking like this, I will return it. Trying to give them the help and chances in the world. Then they bring the steak out and it's literally medium. I mean they're in two different hemispheres. I feel the cooks in the back, Want to take some steaks home at night and use me as the pawn. Then they give me this story. That they can't make rare steaks anymore even though they took the order that way. They send out a manager and wallah.... The steak comes out perfect. So i've now, i've been trying a few other things. Got the roadkill and it was a 3/8" burger with gravy. It was supposed to be smothered and onions, peppers and mushrooms, but if you call that smothered..... I guess it was.

My Husband, Daughter and I stopped at the Altoona Texas Roadhouse for lunch today. This was by far one of the best experiences we’ve had at a Roadhouse. Our server, Becca, was awesome!! She checked on us often to see if we needed anything. The food was delicious, as usual! And on our way our, 5 different people told us to have a good day, yes I counted :)

We always go here but we noticed a change in food quantity and flavor. We understand the price increase but don't change the quantity and less flavoring to the food. To be honest we went to Longhorn and had larger quantity and better tasting food. Price was about the same

Husband got his food. His ribs were cold and his steak was rubbery. They brought him new food, but everyone else was done eating so he didn't even eat half his meal. They made it seem like it was a huge inconvenience.
