Didn't eat anything, just drank coffee, but even though it was empty we waited 20 minutes for the espresso and a cappuccino.

This was my first ever visit, so I didn't really know what to expect. The atmosphere is very home-y. I got the breakfast sandwich with an Asiago bagel, and it was AMAZING! Soooo good! They even had a room in the back that looked like a pottery room. It was pretty cool. Haven't made it back yet, but I definitely want to!

My daughter, mom, granddaughter and I had a great time! The iced coffee and bagels were amazing! My six year old granddaughter loved getting to choose her ceramics and painting. The owner and employees were very helpful and friendly. The prices were very affordable. We will be going back.

The Clay Cup offers a calm & soothing atmosphere, with some of the coolest knowledgeable baristas/staff I have come to interact with! Which, in my opinion, makes The Clay Cup a MUST when visiting Altoona!Whether you are looking for a quick stop for their gourmet coffees & breakfast sandwiches; or showing up for a painting party in their ceramics art room in the back- The Clay Cup stands out by offering one of the most unique & worthwhile experiences the entire city of Altoona has to offer!

I recently moved here from a small town in Washington state. My go to is a raspberry white chocolate oat milk mocha, and theirs reminds of the mocha I used to get from my favorite little coffee shop back in WA. Really cute and cozy coffee shop. I love that they have a paint area, also reminds me of a store from back home :)

Tea and coffee are good overall. More concerned with the fact a young blonde barista felt it was ok to make my Mother's tea while she was chowing down on food and had poor customer service skills. Looking miserable at your job isn't it.

This place has the best traditional coffee drinks with additions to the menu that are thoughtful and tasty. Love the vibe with the exposed brick in a historical building. Painting pottery hear and watching coffee roasting are always fun. There is also a nice selection of handmade goods and coffee for purchase.
