Had errands to run and it's early in the morning and thought to take advantage of the place being open 24/7. That was a lie. A waitress hangs her head out the door and said they werent open yet and didn't know if they'll be open till after 6am. Perkin's was very accommodating.

We waited over an hour for our breakfast, it was over cooked (potatoes were black) and cold. Did not receive all of our order. When we ask about it we waited again and the wrong food was brought to us. I try to focus on the positives, so the coffee and pancakes were ok. But overall, the worst breakfast ever.

My husband and I eat Denny’s take out often. Sometimes I get my ranch and sometimes I don’t, but you know what? I’m still going to eat there because 95% of the time everything is excellent. Additionally, every time we dine in everything is wonderful and the staff (even on busy days) try their best to provide a good dining experience. If they forget something while we dine in, I politely ask for it again and receive it with no issue. Yes, it is that easy! A lot of these reviews display a sense of entitlement. Denny’s is one of the busiest restaurants in Altoona so naturally some days are better than others. Let’s remember the staff are humans and allowed to have bad days just like customers do at their jobs. Let us also note mistakes happen at every restaurant. The review about being upset over tables being pushed together knowing how busy (crowded) it is on Mother’s Day is simply unfair and specifically displays a sense of entitlement. If you want to sit that close to your family to celebrate and enjoy their company, stay at home and cook for them. Reviews need to be fair. When the bad happens, make sure to mention the good as well!

Ordered on their online app and got three desserts. Apparently Meltdown serves all their food through Denny's, so I had to go to Denny's to pick it up. I went to pick up the order and almost walked out the door with it before I realized that all three desserts weren't there. After going back in they told me they couldn't make the desserts because they didn't have the ingredients on hand. However, when I asked for a refund, they also told me they couldn't give me a refund because it was through the Meltdown app which is a different company. Went through a bunch of hoops and there was just absolutely no help in giving me the money back for a product that I paid for but never received. Absolutely fraudulent. The one thing of food that I did get wasn't even that good. Stay away.
