To start off I will say the waitress was alone tonight which we were fully prepared to wait as long as needed to get waited on. We arrived shortly after 630, we followed a couple in and both tables were seated. The waitress was overwhelmed as would anyone. Around 7 a third party had come in and immediately grabbed an order pad and wrote down their own order apparently and took it to the kitchen. The waitress then goes over and we over heard the lady say she used to work there. The waitress proceeded to serve them drinks and starter salads. At this point it was 7:10 and we hadn't even gotten our drinks nor ordered our food. The waitress then comes out with bread for the 3rd party that came in after the couple before us and us (both of which hadn't been waited on at all.) Then the 3rd party had the audacity to ask for garlic bread instead of regular bread to which the waitress then disappeared in the back once again. At that point we left. 45 mins total waiting not to even been given drinks when the table after us was almost already served dinner. My brother was home from the navy and that was supposed to be our last supper as a family for im sure a long long time. The amount of disrespect was unbelievable and can't say I'll ever return to this restaurant.

Fantastic service. Meal for two was $75. Should have been $30. Don’t recommend wedding soup if you are not a fan of an untraditional recipe.Waitress was extremely nice.

Our waitress, Missy, was so friendly and personable. Our meals were delicious. The garlic rolls were the best we ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant. It was a great meal to end our trip back to Michigan.

Very cozy and authentic feeling. The food was great. The Garlic Knots are to die for! It was my first visit but definitely not my last!

Me and my family use to come here a lot , but never again . The quality of the food here is gross and taste old , the sauce is just tomato , and to much sugar . It use to be so much better . It’s just slopped on a dirty chipped plate with no professional care . The dinning area is gross as well . Stained carpet and missing ceiling tiles . Sadly now it fits right into the ghetto it sits in . We felt sick after few bites , before we realized the food was old and reheated . We reported this place to the health code .

My wife and I always stop here for at least one meal when we are here in Altoona. The food never fails to please. This time my wife had the Cavatelli with Chicken in Vodka while I had the Chicken Parmigiana, both were delicious and very large portions; enough for another meal! It's not a cheap meal but for what you get it is well worth it (there are specials as my Chicken Parm. was.)

I think the food is very good, and I love the cozy atmosphere. The staff is wonderful. You also always have enough to take home and enjoy again! The bruschetta appetizer is DIVINE.

We were going to a show at the Mishler Theatre and came here for dinner. Once we realized they had no bar - it was BYOB - we left. We really wanted a nice lemon drop martini. Now, the food we saw coming coming out of the kitchen looked great, and I did eat here before once a few years back - yes, food was REALLY good! But if you want a drink before dinner, nope, unless you bring your own. Atmosphere and location are just a little cheesy.

I've been a food groupie of spaghetti since childhood - that way it's prepared, the sauce, the taste of the meatball; all of it is important to me. Villa Capri is in my top 10.

Our waitress, Deb, was friendly and inviting. The dinners were absolutely wonderful and quite possibly the best vodka sauce I've ever had! We've been there many times and have been telling everyone about Villa Capri. I love the authentic Italian taste! You have to try it...it's so good!!

The owners, Vinnie and Missy, couldn't have been more welcoming and gracious. We were warmly greeted with hot garlic rolls right out of the oven. The cost of the meal (very fair and reasonable) even includes authentic wedding soup or tasty fresh salad with a wide variety of gourmet dressings to choose. The pastas and sauces were tasty and fresh. The crab cakes were nice and crispy on the outside, soft, tasty and full of crab meat on the inside with little, if any, bread crumbs. Make sure you save room for dessert though, because there are so many flavors of Gelato and other traditional favorites like tiramisu. Enjoy!
