I've frequented the Broad Axe for quite some time and love it for the friendly and welcoming staff and warm atmosphere. The food is good and they have an extensive beer and spirits list. The skilled bartenders can whip up anything to suit a mood or taste.

I've been coming here for years, so it pains me to give this review. The service has been terrible for some time now, but last night it was really worthy of a one star review. 4 of us waited for over 30 minutes for drink orders to be delivered on our second round. Food was way too salty. There was one guy waiting the entire floor and 3 dudes behind the bar doing nothing. They have like 28 taps and only rotate about half. The menu, including the insert with the specials, hasn't changed in a year. Everything about this place could be great, but it's just mismanaged down to a C- and it's been a while since I've not been disappointed.

I didn't want to give any Stars We're from our of town and meeting up with some friends and thought we would try this place. The food was good,the service was okay. They do give you good size portions. We got our check(s) gave her our payment and she came back and we signed everything and put our tip down.she came and collected everything and saw what we put for a tip( we are pretty good tippers and over tip, tonight we didn't, there was a few things that could have been different with our service). Our waitress came back asked what was wrong with the service and and handed us back our receipt and open the Bill like we. Eeded to change our tip amount to please her. I couldn't believe that she did that. I went and spoke with a manager and told her how rude that was and that they aren't lucky I take the entire tip off. The manager apologized and offered us a discount for next time I told her that we're from out of town and she offered us a dessert, I declined and just told her that I didn't appreciate it and wanted them to be aware of it. Hopefully your experience will be different

We had a party of 15 prople. I made a reservation one week in advance some how it got lost. No worries Jessica did an amazing job moving things around to accommodate us. She comptroller us with appetizers. The food was good & our party has a great time. Wendy our waitress was such fun & remembered our first names. We will go back again.
