I've frequented the Broad Axe for quite some time and love it for the friendly and welcoming staff and warm atmosphere. The food is good and they have an extensive beer and spirits list. The skilled bartenders can whip up anything to suit a mood or taste.

I've been coming here for years, so it pains me to give this review. The service has been terrible for some time now, but last night it was really worthy of a one star review. 4 of us waited for over 30 minutes for drink orders to be delivered on our second round. Food was way too salty. There was one guy waiting the entire floor and 3 dudes behind the bar doing nothing. They have like 28 taps and only rotate about half. The menu, including the insert with the specials, hasn't changed in a year. Everything about this place could be great, but it's just mismanaged down to a C- and it's been a while since I've not been disappointed.
