Our waitress, Sara, was so engaging, accommodating, and just helped make our birthday dinner extra special. We really appreciated all she did for us. The food and service were great.”

“Excellent dining experience. Service, by Kai, was as good as the food. A tad pricey, but this kind of cuisine and professional service should be. BYOB saves a few bucks, so I will be back. The endive salad with a Dijon vinaigrette was sublime and the Red Snapper the best we’ve had. Oh, and the New York strip steak was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. Treat yourself and experience what fine dining is.”

Ingredients and craftsmanship are worthy of esteemed 5 Gold Stars. I will be returning always so long as the ingredients and quality remain top notch. “I had a delicious lunch of lemongrass tofu vermicelli. It was seasoned well and there was a generous amount of tofu. My friend had a pork bahn mi sandwich that she said was great. I will definitely come back!”

“If you're looking for fresh ingredients, baked with love and phenomenal flavor profiles, Copihue Bakehouse is a must. There is something to select for everyone. The empanadas, avocado or tomato toast, cookies and cupcakes were sampled during our last visit. Our little entourage will be returning to repeat this delectable experience. Copihue was especially a hit with my daughter - she loved everything she tried.”

“I actually stopped by this smoke shop originally to grab some Indian food nearby, but I’m glad I went in — they have some of the best quality vapes I’ve seen around here! The selection is way better than other shops in the area, and the staff was super chill and helpful. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into good flavors and quality products. Unexpectedly turned into my go-to spot!”

“There is never a wait here, and that’s insane because of how good it is. The atmosphere is great since it’s roadside in ambler. The food is cheap and you get soooo much. I got the chicken strips, and they genuinely took an entire chicken and cut it into pieces. Poor Albert, he was a good chicken. R.I.P. At least he tasted good 😋. And to end this review, I’m going to talk about the pretzel. This pretzel is the reason we go to Tannery Run. This is the reason for the five stars. This pretzel is my motivation for everything in life. Not exaggerated.”

“honestly we almost walked past this place but im so glad we didnt stop. the vibe inside is like nothing else in ambler, really comfortable and chill. i got the burger and it was juicy, came out hot and the fries were crispy just how i like them. my friend had the salmon and she kept saying how fresh it tasted. the person behind the bar was super nice and checked on us a few times. whole meal felt easy and good without being stuffy. definitely coming back next time im in town.”

The bruschetta paired with the shrimp scampi was absolutely out of this world—fresh, flavorful, and done to perfection. And the penne vodka pasta? Incredible. You can taste the quality in every bite.

What really sets this place apart is the experience. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the owner personally came out to check on us—which tells you everything about the pride they take in what they’re building.

This is the kind of spot you don’t just try once—you come back to again and again. So excited to have this right here in our community.

“Food was descent, I ate all of it. I arrived early, only because I live a few blocks away, I think the manager took my pizza out of the oven a little sooner than usual, only to appease me because she saw me waiting. Baby girl, cook time is everything… I’m no portnay, but I did own a pizza shop for ten years. That extra minute or two makes a difference. Overall, I would definitely go back, I like crinkle fries..I’m jus gonna ask them to cook it for a min or 2 longer.”

“I have a subscription to their coffee roastery - I recieve a 5lb bag of Espresso Roast beans every 8 weeks to use in my at home espresso machine. Their beans have ruined all other coffee for myself and my wife - we can ONLY drink Backyard Beans coffee. It is the best coffee we have ever tasted. The worst part is - we live in Alabama so we can only ever order it for delivery!”

“We came upon this neighborhood gem by accident while in the area. Clean, friendly, bright and wonderful aromas of delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine. We tried the fish tacos and the huevos con chorizo both of which were divine. Highly recommend!”

“Great craft beer menu. We ordered a few appetizers: plain nachos (large plate; very cheesy & delicious), margarita pizza and fried pickles (both were very good). Bartenders were very attentive. It’s a converted bank so you can still see the vault which is a cool feature. Highly recommend.”

“My sister and I were looking for Italian and decided to drive by for a look. The parking lot was a little sad, but inside was really nice. I think Don was our waiter. Very knowledgeable about the menu and substitutions we might like better. Nice, helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and large portions. I couldn’t eat another bite, but we enjoyed it very much!”

“My gf and I went on a Thursday evening for happy hour. Thankfully I found on street parking easily. We sat in the outside area which is very esthetically pleasing and lovely. Mini sliders and beet salad were delightful. We each had the affogato for dessert. I liked it! Not used to the espresso being cold in an affogato- loved their take on it.”

“If you are looking for a local divey bar this is it. Bartender was pleasant. There was a dart game in progress on the night we came. We were too late to order food but behind the bar and bar top seemed pretty clean. The booths near front entrance also looked recently re done. Even though we are not from the area- the regulars were welcoming.”

“We went for lunch on one of the hottest days of the summer. While waiting for a table, they gave us ice water to help cool us off. When the table was ready, we sat were offered drinks. The wait staff was kind and helpful. The food was very good and the service while a little slow was great. We did not opt for ice cream while there. I recommend this spot even if you have to wait for a table.”

“We had dinner at Planchette yesterday in celebration of Father’s Day. In addition to my husband and myself, our daughter, son in law, and two adult grandsons shared the meal. The food was absolutely the best we’ve had in a very long time. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. The staff was wonderful too. Everyone knows it’s been very difficult getting and keeping staff since the pandemic hit. It’s a shame the folks that complained so bitterly about having to wait did not take this fact into consideration. We’d heartily recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience.”
