Mini sliders and beet salad were delightful. We each had the affogato for dessert. I liked it! Not used to the espresso being cold in an affogato- loved their take on it.“

The bruschetta paired with the shrimp scampi was absolutely out of this world—fresh, flavorful, and done to perfection. And the penne vodka pasta? Incredible. You can taste the quality in every bite.

What really sets this place apart is the experience. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the owner personally came out to check on us—which tells you everything about the pride they take in what they’re building.

This is the kind of spot you don’t just try once—you come back to again and again. So excited to have this right here in our community.

“We are working our way through Manyunk restaurants and Bar Jawn had some excellent reviews. It was much smaller than I expected but the Bourdain signs and country music told me we were in the right place. Cooper Sharp fried cheese squares with fresh sauce were outrageously good. Cheesesteak with Cooper sharp and cherry peppers did Philly proud. Loved the seeded roll too. Definitely will be back. Service was friendly and attentive. A really great Sunday afternoon.“

“Just got home from an AMAZING dinner celebrating my father in laws 70th birthday and the 50th wedding anniversary for he and his wife. The service was impeccable and our server, Taylor was fantastic, friendly, understanding and accommodating the entire time! She couldn’t have been better! “First time for us at Roots,the cook with language barrier to new staff hit a home run.Starting with just the cold water in clear carafe with glasses for us, the super nice waitress, appetizer,happy FIFA happy hour crowd, we were sold. “We love Dig Inn! Stumbled upon it a few months ago and have been back multiple times since. It’s both healthy and delicious dining and we like almost everything we’ve tried. I love their crispy chicken thighs, sweet potatoes, and charred broccoli, with either pesto or garlic aioli sauce. It’s great for when you don’t want to cook but want to still eat healthy. The restaurant has lots of seating and we recently tried their soda fountain, which was good! Highly recommend checking them out!!“

“I remember the first time I tried this place and honestly I wasn't exactly impressed but I'm glad I gave them another chance because I've been back a few times since and it just seems to somehow get better every time. The burgers are phenomenal and look like how other places make them look in their advertising. Everything on it was fresh and cooked perfectly. The fries are also that great balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely give them a try if you're in the area.“

Visited one Sunday and got a whiskey flight, while my wife had watermelon martini. We enjoyed our drinks in the serene outside area that resembles a scene out of a movie, which they share with a few other local vendors. Our party included one vegan, one vegetarian and one mainly veg. Special mention to the pita, a cloud of wonderfulness, and the ginger juice, a spicy, sweet, delicious treat. We'll be back soon!“
