“Applebees has always been a great go to forMe and my friends. We particularly enjoy going after 9 and filling the table with many, many half price appetizers. I'm a fan of all the apps but have a special place in my heart for the chicken wonton tacos. When not visiting during the half price apps I've been going for the quesadilla burger. Such great flavor! My boyfriend always gets the Mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken which is also very good. I feel fortunate to have an Applebees right around the corner!“

“Awesome spot in Ambler. The cheesesteaks were huge and they were delicious. We got the buffalo springfield, austin city limits, and jawn popper cheesesteaks and they were all amazing. “Another wonderful dining experience at the Valley Green Inn. This time my party of four came for Sunday brunch. We were happily surprised with a complementary basket of warm mini muffins. Which went very well with our glasses of very reasonably priced and good dry white. Two of us had the crabcake sandwich with fries which was delicious. my other two dining companions had salads – one a beautiful quinoa, and the other a large salad with chicken, both of which they enjoyed. Now, the service! We were fortunate to get Tristan again as our server. He was a delight as usual with attentive and upbeat service. As I said, a wonderful dining experience – good food, good service, and the beautiful ambience of the Wissahickon . What could be better. “
“Once again, another wonderful meal! I ordered the Brussels sprout salad which I had not tried before. Glad I did! Lovely mix of crunchy sprouts, cranberries, walnuts, apple& Gorgonzola with dressing that complimented all of the flavors. Also had the salmon appetizer which is reliably excellent. Main courses of doradd & short rib delicious. I loved the chocolate cake & the “taste” of crème brûlée & ice cream are a great way to try several desserts. Veronica was lovely & helpful. “Visited for lunch on a sunny Sunday. Solid wine and beer list and fantastic food! The only downside was that there is limited seating and we were near the windows. The sun was streaming in and there was no window shade. Not only were we warm, we ate the whole meal with the sun in our eyes! “My hubs tried the Birria burger tonight and wow, it was so delicious. He couldn’t finish it but it will make a tasty lunch tomorrow. Love that they are mixing up their menu a little bit. I had the pappardelle which was great too, although it is so heavy. I might suggest reducing the amount of burrata and adding some vegetable to balance out the dish. We really needed some good food tonight after a few underwhelming experiences recently and StoneRose came through for us!“

The decor is mostly beautiful wood, making the acoustics so live however, that the people talking was so loud we had to yell to hear each other. As it emptied out, it got better. Great place to eat, just not a place for peaceful conversation.“

“Food was tasty and a good value. Staff were very nice. Looks can be deceiving when looking at the restaurant from the outside. It looks like the building used to be an old American dinner that’s a little beat up but once you enter you will be greeted by a clean restaurant with clothed tables and chairs. However you can still see some of the old diner inside so it conflicts with the Korean accents. Obviously not a deal breaker but I hope they invest for a modern remodel.“
“I ordered the veggie delight with sweet potatoes and it was amazing! The vegetables and toasted everything bagel was such a satisfying start to my day. The sweet potatoes were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of crunch. I also liked that there were sweet potato skins that were so crispy and crunchy. It was like having fresh homemade chips! I recommend this place to everyone to at least try once. You will not be disappointed.“

The overall event was a huge success! We had a great time!“
“We love Spring House. The food, drinks and service are consistently top notch. Last night was a step backwards. We were greeted at the table by our server with bread and butter and asking if we wanted more than water to drink. In general the drinks took a while and so did the soup. We waited quite a while for someone to take the empty soup bowls and ask if we wanted a water refill or another drink. The soup bowls were taken when the entrees were served. There was someone nearby who was setting the table next to us but she was only interested a table that was still empty when we left. We remain fans of the restaurant and will be back but clearly not a good moment.“

“This place was very good. This was our first time coming here. We had a very short wait which was a welcome surprise since it was a Saturday around noon. My son had the red velvet pancakes and liked it (he said 4/5). I had the braised beef Benedict and it was awesome. Great flavor and eggs were poached perfectly. Service was definitely 100%. Never waited for anything. You can tell all the people working here care. I highly recommend this place for a great brunch. I will be back for sure!!“

It did physically hurt my heart to see the valet slam my car into park while it was still driving. I still tipped them, they are just kids, but I will definitely never valet here again. The menu is small (which I prefer) as everything is made from scratch and made well. We ate at one of the stand up counters inside but there is plenty of seating outside if the weather is nice and it’s also a great option to grab and go. The staff was super nice as well.
