Very bad experience with online ordering. Until the GrubHub driver arrives at the restaurant the order is in ' prepared state' and then you get a message that the order is cancelled because the restaurant has stopped accepting orders because it is closed. Lolz. Even when the closing time is listed as 9 pm your 6.45pm order gets cancelled after 45 min. What a joke. Has happened 4 times in a row.

Lamb meat in a chaat was not minced, but ground. All the sauces were poured over, so you got a messy thing, and that's fine with chaat but not appreciated if you are late for a pick up, right? Potatoes pieces were huge and not well seasoned. I do understand the spice level was reduced to fit the US palette but the total amount of spices was also reduced. So, no, it's a negative experience after all. It's not authentic Indian food.

Amazing little place right in the Heart of Ambler. I usually always get the chicken over rice but everything on the menu is delicious. The owner is super friendly and always looks out to make sure his customers have the best experience. Highly recommend!!

Authentic Indian street food at a great price. Owners are super friendly and the menu is manageable with not too many things to make it hard to choose. Veggie samosa and all the chats I have tried have been delicious and full of bright fresh flavor. Grab an ice cream or sweet drink for dessert.

Chaat Wala has quickly become our go-to Friday takeout spot! We have been ordering the chicken over rice and it is always so delicious. This spot is a great addition to Ambler, a hidden gem that is slightly off the main area of shops and restaurants. We look forward to our Friday takeouts from Chaat Wala when we can get over there!
What a terrific addition to Ambler! We loved the selection of chaats, everyone of them delicious and beautifully prepared. We received a warm welcome and personal service. Chaat Wala is a keeper!

Super friendly service and excellent food. Highly recommend the chicken chaat, which is not served at many other places. It included small slivers of mango, which was a nice touch.Finish off with a Crown kulfi if you feel like something sweet.

Best chicken tikka masala everrrr!I recently dined at this beautiful restaurant, The service is awesome and staff are welcoming and friendly. As for the food, it was top notch. Even though the menu is limited, each dish was bursting with authentic flavors. Will definitely be visiting again.
