Food is amazing! Amazing BBQ food a lot of quantity for your buck! Was searching for good BBQ around the area since Lucky Well closed down. Found a diamond in the rough! Definitely will recommend!

Take-out only on Saturdays till they sell out, so order or come in early for the best selection! We were there around 1 pm and they were almost out of ribs. But that’s ok, we were there for a brisket sandwich (see photo) and a pulled pork sandwich, both $12 each. So much meat!! We only ate half and saved the other half till the next day. And it was very tender. We tried both sauces, the house sauce was more yellow and had more of a kick, but not overwhelming.

They also had several sides and desserts available…maybe we’ll try some of those next time too! I wish I had taken a photo of the menu, because the ones online seem to be several years old (prices are higher now). I would recommend to D&D’s that they take a few minutes to update their online and social media presence to better represent what they offer today.

This place is a jewel in the rough!I've been getting ribs, chicken and brisket from here for almost 40 years. I've never had any better barbecue these guys know what they're doing! Even the barbecue sauce is to die for!!My only complaint is that they're not open year-round LOL :-)

Overall from my first experience, I found the food to be average. I ordered half rack of regular pork ribs and 3 sides. The ribs were good. It came with 2 sauces which were very good. The mac n cheese was mushy pasta; the collar greens were bland; and the potato salad was OK. This is strictly a take-out joint in VFW lodge with zero atmosphere. The cost for my dinner was $37. It would have been $43 if they had the sweet potato pie. I thought the dinner was pricey for what I received. And, there was no bread with my ribs.

The people were nice and the ribs were humongous for the price. They had chewy meaty and overall succulent ribs. Will definitely come back and 10/10 ribs.

It's set up like a roadside BBQ in the parking lot of the VFW. I don't care, the ribs are the best. They're only open Friday and Saturday from 12-5. Go early or call ahead! They sell out often!
