I’m sharing this feedback in hopes it reaches management, as the experience felt fixable but ultimately unresolved.
Dinner at Deteria tonight started strong. The first three courses were well executed, and the service throughout the evening was attentive and professional.

We made a reservation through Resy at Dettera specifically for an outdoor table to celebrate a friend’s birthday. My confirmation stated “outside table”. When we arrived, the hostess/manager told us our reservation was marked “unassigned” and said there was no outdoor seating available. It was a beautiful night and we did not want to sit indoors. This is why we chose the restaurant and made the outdoor reservation well in advance.

I had made a reservation for Saturday, 11/2, at 8:30 p.m. I explained that this was going to be just drinks and dessert. The person I talked to said that was fine and they would make a note of it. 2 of my party had to drop out last minute. Yesterday around 3:30.
