You spend $120 on dinner and they charge you a 3% fee for the use of a credit card as if it’s some kind of convenience store or something. Anyway food was decent. Veal picatta was …. good enough. I would say it was 2 steps up from reheating a frozen meal. And that’s not bad.

My movie group dines at The Boot monthly. Usually, the service is good. The serving staff is typically pleasant and responsive. Last night, we waited some time for our waitress to come to our table. When she did, she was prompt in bringing our drink orders. Then, over one hour passed before she approached our table again. She offered no excuses and appeared indifferent. We were able to give her our dinner orders and the food arrived promptly after that. Given our experience with this restaurant, I can only assume that this was a singular event that, hopefully, won't be repeated.

The building has an cleaning chemical smell which, while better than other possible smells, is quite noticable. Correcting this would enhance the atmosphere.

We sat at the bar before our movie next store, and much to my pleasant surprise, Mariana and company was willing to make me my favorite drink! It’s so weird and random; Pennicilin. Most places won’t even try, but the staff was so friendly and worked together to make it for me! Thank you so much everyone.

We were out last Friday night. The restaurant was not very crowded. My husband and I enjoyed our dinner. Drinks were great and served quickly. We shared an appetizer. Our food came out at the perfect time. Both entrees were very good. We had after dinner drinks which were excellent - always good bartenders here. Service was perfect.

Place was empty. Hostess without greeting asked if we had reservation. We were told we could eat at counter near bar. Ordered apps. Brushetta was delicious. Shrimp app. Had 4 small overcooked shrimp. At $16.00 I would pass on it. Had to ask for bread three times and it finally came after our entre course. Veal picata was tasty. However, pasta was either over cooked or under cooked as it was hard. Lafeyette Hill location should provide inservice. Overall from the front door to the bill I feel service and quality didnt represent the moderate to high price point. We took our desert to go. BTW. Three tables still open when we departed. Bad taste in our mouth all around.

Most dishes are fantastic and the service and atmosphere are lovely. Would highly recommend the Gnocchi pasta, both linguine and fettuccine dishes with the asparagus are not that well done unfortunately. The angle hair red sauce is quite fantastic as well. Tiramisu was quite light yet creamy and certainly delicious. Free bread in the form of garlic rolls and simple slices are provided with oil and oregano at the table.
Solid and consistent, From the Boot will never knock your socks off. It's a nice, safe neighborhood place.

We heard good reviews from the Boot, we dinned there on a Tuesday night, they had a good amount of customers and the food and service was very good. They offer choices that you know and some unique choices, from appetizers to dessert. The Boot is definitely on our return list, you will not be disappointed
