Helena is an attentive, engaging, and knowledgeable server! Service is always fantastic. She recommended delicious dishes from the new menu like the burratina, carne apache, tetela, shishito, elote, and huitlacoche ravioli. Huitlacoche, a delicacy harvested from corn, and the carne apache dishes were my favorites of the night. Highly recommend any of the desserts, especially the meringue and tiramisu. Passion fruit juice was delicious as well. This is my favorite go-to spot! Everything had such a depth of flavor, I forgot to take pictures. The pictures I took don’t do the food justice at all!!

Absolutely incredible dining experience in Ambler. The service was perfect- Marcela was so knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu! The food was Michelin quality… flavor combinations out of this world! Ambler is so lucky to have La Baja.

This place blew me away. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor — especially the barbacoa , which I’m still thinking about. You can tell the kitchen puts real care into what they serve.
Drinks were great, the pacing of the meal was perfect, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to find a spot that nails every detail, but this one absolutely does. Highly recommend — can’t wait to go back.

Authentic, traditional Mexican cuisine. You won’t find Tex Mex here but that’s ok! Everything was flavored beautifully. The chef puts lots of TLC in his food (I heard he’s a Michelin starred chef?). BYOB, including tequila (they have nonalcoholic margarita mix available for purchase). Staff is very attentive, keeping water glasses full and tables cleared. However, I cannot give it 5 stars because we were uncomfortably stuffy and warm — no AC inside restaurant and it was 94 degrees F outside that day. Please don’t let that stop you from trying this wonderful restaurant in downtown Ambler! After growing up here, I love coming back to enjoy the vibrant new life it has!
