Delicious food. Lovely ambience. Long wait time for some dishes. Authentic profiteroles!

This was wedding anniversary dinner and we wanted quiet table at a more elegant restaurant, which this place is. Speaking to the host before hand we were able to get a table in a more private setting. Our waiter Nick was outstanding. Our beet salad, mushroom soup, corvina, Black Sea bass and crème brûlée were wonderful. La Provence will remain high on our list for special occasion and celebratory dinners.

We visited this restaurant for the first time on Father's Day. I had the braised rabbit at the waiters recommendation as my entree, and he did not lead me astray. Such amazing aroma and taste. We will be back!

Went here for a Mother’s Day brunch…absolutely awful :( we were so disappointed because this place does have good reviews and a cute setting!! The food took an hour and 15 minutes to come out, and when it did the croquet Madams we ordered were completely overdone and actually burnt! We ordered 3 and were told one of them was “dropped on the floor of the kitchen” ? Which made everything take even longer. The salad someone in my party received was just not up to our expectations as well, bland and the presentation wasn’t nice. Only thing that was good was the lobster ravioli, but in my opinion still was not worth the price. Our server was very nice and I don’t want to get anyone in any sort of trouble because it wasn’t his fault, but the service we received from multiple people was all around slow and they also knocked a champagne glass right off of our table! We will unfortunately not be back here. Not sure if it was a busy day because of Mother’s Day? But our experience this Sunday was unfortunately a 1 star visit and I regret paying the bill but what can you do.

The menu stays true to classic French fare. The escargots were excellent, rich, tender, and full of flavor. The croquettes were less impressive, lacking personality. The fish special was average. The flavor was pleasant but the texture was too firm. The dessert, an île flottante, was the highlight, light, elegant, and creatively done.

First, I'd like to say that we dine at upscale restaurants frequently. Our server, Nate, was pleasant and professional, but he didn't check back to see how we were enjoying our meals. The Filet Gnocci was excellent and priced appropriately. The Fois Gras was missing something, perhaps more of a sear. It was bland, although the sauce was good. The lamb rack was not as meaty as I've had elsewhere, and for less than $60 although the potato and vegetables were very good. The duck confit was terribly small and literally swimming in lentils, quite disappointing! He enjoyed the apple tarte and I found the floating island just ok, especially with the 3 single blueberries. Really, 3??? Lastly we were rather shocked at the dress attire worn by the majority of the guests, even though you state that dress should be business casual. We saw undershirts (not tee shirts), jeans, shorts, plaid flannel shirts and hoodies (the worst in my opinion!). Overall we could have gone anywhere for my birthday and I chose La Provence. I wish I could have a do over! The best part was the landscaping, lighting, including the lamps on the tables, and the excellent wine we brought with us.

We have been at La Provence many time for dinner and it has always been excellent. Easter was our first brunch there. It exceeded expectations. Everything was perfect.

Delightful Sunday brunch with a varied menu of delicious entrees. We enjoyed a perfect table for two with friendly, attentive service. Definitely a gem of a spot in Ambler.

We had an 11:30 Rez for Easter Brunch and it was perfect! Appreciated the a la carte format (vs buffet), the menu's varied selection and that it's BYOB. Loved the overall atmosphere and the service, especially Delroy, was impeccable! Conversation was easy, not noisy and we were not rushed. We will definitely return!

We had a very good meal at the restaurant. However, 2 of us ordered the “special fish”, and the server came back and said it was sold out. This was at 7:00. They ordered the Dover sole, which was delicious but much a more expensive entree. Service was very good and it wasn't noisy where we were sitting. Will go back in the summer, and sit outside

A beautiful dinning experience. This is a must return. The service and atmosphere was the tops. You won't be disappointed.

Had a wonderful meal this evening. My husband and I both had specials - pork chop and quail - and they were excellent. Baked Alaska to top it off was great. Service, as always, impeccable.

Our first visit and will not be our last. We are francofiles and visit France frequently. The food here is quite authentic and holds up against the many restaurants we have been to in France. We look forward to returning.

We shared a cheese board to begin. Beautifully presented and a perfect blend of cheese, bread, almonds, and fruit. The corvina fish was cooked perfectly and served in a delicious cream sauce with sweet corn, unexpected combination, but so flavorful. There were crab pieces dotted in there. They were fine, but the dish didn't need it.
