I had my birthday dinner at La Provenance and had a delightful experience. The service was exceptional, with staff being incredibly friendly and attentive, especially when it came to explaining menu items. As for the food, the appetizers and soup were standout dishes, bursting with rich flavor. While the main dishes were enjoyable, they fell slightly short of expectations, lacking that extra oomph to make them truly memorable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was charming, with romantic outdoor lighting visible from indoors, making it an ideal spot for couples celebrating a special occasion. One important thing to note is that they are a BYOB restaurant, so be sure to bring your favorite bottle (we forgot). Overall, it's a lovely spot with great potential, especially for those seeking a cozy and romantic dining experience.

We went to La Provence for the first time to celebrate my sister's birthday. Throughout our meal, the food was good and the service was equally good. However, while having our coffee at the end of our meal, the waiter came over to us and awkwardly asked us to hurry up because they had other customers that night. I fully understand that restaurants make their money from turning over tables and admit that parties cannot sit there all night. That said, we had not even been there two hours, and when spending $100 per head, to be asked to leave while still drinking coffee and concluding a meal significantly detracted from the experience. Though I would not dissuade others from visiting La Provence for dinner, we will not be returning ourselves.

Excellent food and service. We went for our anniversary and our waiter Kai and his team of Yusia and Julie were outstanding. Very attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommend especially for a special occasion.

The food was wonderful, the service was great. We had been previously and we will go again. The place is charming although it can be a bit noisy when it is filled or if there is a loud group but it is still well worth a visit.

Very nice place with very friendly service. The cheese board was a great starter and my wife’s fish was the winning entree. My rack of lamb had more potential that would have been well served with a small side of extra sauce. Alas, by the time the server came to check, the potatoes were a bit cool and the extra sauce took a while. The Lamb made some great steak and eggs the next morning.I plan to return here again to sample more offerings.

The corn with a Corvina fish was fabulous and helped to support the flavor of the fish, which actually lacked in flavor. It could have used pepper or pepper on the table that we could have added in ourselves all in all a wonderful evening, and I thank you for providing it for us. Our server we think his name was Nate, was extremely attentive and helpful without being overbearing. All in all, as I've said, a good experience experience.

The service and the atmosphere was impeccable. The mushroom soup, the mussels, bread and ricotta cheesecake were outstanding. My husband had the filet mignon. It was cooked to perfection with excellent sides. I had the dover sole. The presentation was awesome. I found that the amount of capers used made the fish and the accompanying spinach bit too salty. But overall the combination was very good. I do think the prices overall were on the high side, even though the overall quality of the restaurant. The BYOB policy helped to keep the bill down and we will definitely return.

The food was fine and our service was also fine. We dine at many BYOB's in the area and the prices at this place are insane. I'm well aware that nothing costs what it did before, but 75 dollars for a whitefish entree is truly over the top. We have been to so many other places in the area where we have paid way less and had much better food and service. Skip it!

La Provence is a local gem, as it is one of very few nearby venues offering creative French-style cuisine. We typically have found the food and service to be excellent. However, we were surprised that on top of an $85/pp prix fixe charge for Valentines Day dinners, there also were supplemental charges on more than half of the listed entrees, which essentially meant as much as plus $100/pp, depending on the choice of entree. We went on a cold February evening, and there was a noticeable cold draft at certain tables near the outer part of the dining room, as the structure there didn't seem to have much insulation. In conclusion, we are big fans of La Provence and will certainly return, but probably only a few times a year.

Overall a lovely experience. The food all tasted very fresh. They have specials regularly so menu items may change. Service was very good as well. I'd recommend this is you're looking for some French fine dining. Also the best item I had was the Ile Flottante dessert. So reminiscent of what I had in Paris. Also the place is BYOB and has its own parking lot as well.

Everything was fantastic. The ambience was beautiful, especially the twinkle lights outside. We had a lovely 2-top table which was perfect for date night. Our service was fantastic and the food was INCREDIBLE. We will absolutely be back.

Food was excellent, albeit a bit expensive--$75 for the Dover Sole Meuniere, but it was a special occasion so I ordered it--was delicious! Mussels were tender and huge! Oysters were excellent. Bronzino was well liked by two of our diners. Beet salad was excellent--beets cooked just right. We would definitely go back, but maybe in a quieter location in the restaurant. We were in the porch room, and the diners next to us were very loud. Two of our diners have hearing issues so conversation was limited. We would rather have been in the main dining area. And in the summer, you can sit outside, which might be a better place for hearing. Service was excellent, but hard to hear our server with the specials due to the noise level. Our water glasses were refilled constantly, which was good.

Everything was generally great, but our waiter, while very nice, was largely absent. Very long delays between visits. But again, he was very nice and the rest of the wait staff kept everything going.
