After living in the city and traveling through Europe me and my husband thought we'd never find satisfaction in a suburban restaurant... especially post pandemic where everything is just seemingly a little less good. We went here for date night and we were blown away. The atmosphere takes you to a cozy far off place and the food was like a warm hug, one you don't want to end. If you want a romantic byob spot to enjoy an incredible meal, don't skip this one.

10/10 chef does it again. Service was incredible, food was outstanding, and we cannot wait to return to try that famous burger! The menu is seasonal otherwise i'd say you NEED the asparagus salad. Every month is a delicious bite of the season. We cannot wait to return.

The inventive seasonal menu - including baked peaches - was all very tempting but my wife and I both went for the burger and couldn't have been happier with our choice. A++ and well worth a repeat visit in the near future.

We were blown away by this hidden gem in Ambler. The menu changes each month based on what is in season. The executive chef came to our table several times to talk to us and see how we liked our meal. The meal, vibes and concept were fantastic. It’s BYOB right now. But there is a winery two doors down so we bought a bottle and brought it in. This was one of only a few visits back to the heart of Ambler after moving to NC 15 years ago, I am blown away by what Ambler has become. I have a feeling this restaurant will be a staple for many years to come.

I came here with my brother to celebrate his birthday, and it was our first time dining at the restaurant. I had my eye on the steak tartare, but we were told it was unavailable. Luckily, the chef hooked us up with one. A thoughtful gesture that really elevated the whole experience.
The tartare was outstanding: finely chopped, well-seasoned, with just the right acidity and richness. The texture was spot-on—silky but with some bite—and it came with crisp toasts that balanced everything beautifully.
We also had the raw asparagus and citrus salad, which was surprisingly bold for such a light dish. The asparagus was thinly shaved and super fresh, paired with juicy citrus segments and a bright vinaigrette that tied it all together.
A memorable meal with great service and even better hospitality. We’ll definitely be back.

I went here with my brother to celebrate my birthday and everything was phenomenal! The steak frites, the raw asparagus and citrus salad was amazing. They told us they were out of steak tartare and they surprised us with freshly cut steak tartare. The best part was the dessert and meeting the chef amazing person, I will be coming back soon during the fall. 🔥🔥🔥

Had everything on the menu but the steak tartare and wow it was all great. No complaints from anyone in our party of 5. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and the freshness and quality of ingredients is top notch! Highly recommended!

Thank goodness, we have our amazing burgers back in Ambler! The owners of Lucky Well (now closed) have created the new hotspot in town. Atmospheric and dimly lit with an approachable menu that they switch up frequently. Tops the list.

Another great Chad Rosenthal creation. So lucky to have this in Ambler. Sat at the bar. Started with the Tostones and Sweet onion Dip. Great to share. I had the Brisket which was so tender and the grits were delicious. My wife had the pumpkin lasagna which was huge and hugely good. Currently waiting on a liquor license but they offered complimentary cocktails. The Old Fashioned was so good.
Update- went back a second time. Just as satisfied with a completely different menu. Looks like they’re sticking with the BYOB concept which is fine by me. We will definitely go back again.

Came here for our anniversary dinner and it was perfect. From the welcoming staff to the delicious meal, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. This restaurant wouldn’t feel out of place in the heart of brooklyn. Top quality!

Everything was phenomenal. The food absolutely blew our socks off- especially the raw asparagus salad- which we’re still talking about. The staff is also super kind and helpful. On top of that, the restaurant is dark and intimate which creates a perfect date night atmosphere

Had an awesome dinner here with my family. Everyone left both full and happy. The portions are generous, and Chef Chad's dishes are all delicious.
The cheeseburger was special. I also really enjoyed the raw asparagus salad that I had.
We will be coming back for sure!
