Chicken tikka masala is 10/10
Absolutely incredible meal. Hit the spot and highly recommend. I got chicken tikka masala and my boyfriend got the chicken murg korma. We split the Raita yogurt sauce, which adds such a fresh bite. The sauces are savory, the meat is very tender. Worth the trip! ?

Saffron Indian Kitchen is a chain of delicious Indian food restaurants around the Philadelphia and suburban neighborhoods.
This particular one is located in the adorable town of Ambler. There is paid street and lot parking but a very reasonable fee.
Arrive early on a weekend night as the area can get a little crowded. Lots of small shops and eateries all around.
The food was fresh and delicious. We chose bhindi masala and chicken korma. Complimentary refills on the included rice.
The restaurant itself is small so may not be the best for large parties.
Service was efficient, polite and did not have unnecessary small talk, which I appreciate.
Will definitely be returning. Great restaurant!
Take a walk in the neighborhood after.

Mom and pop vibe in a good way. The food was excellent! Waitor was knowledgeable and discussed recommendations as to what to bring for BYOB to go with different foods

I ordered chicken biryani. But it’s not biryani at all. Flavored rice put together with chicken. That’s it. Got fooled by looking at the reviews.

Food was great and our server was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was on the plainer side and nothing fancy, but we weren’t looking for anything like that, just good food.

Ordered for delivery, chicken korma and punjabi chana . Both were yummy and right spice level, rice that came along also was well made and fragrant. Chole or chana tasted very good had added kewra water to it. I had called earlier and they answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Slightly on the pricier side , wished that the quantity was more.
Vegetarian options: Vegan options are marked clearly

Wonderful Indian restaurants' food is good in taste and texture. Lamb Chops are more than my expectations. I don't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone who looks for real Indian food. They serve varieties of vegetarian dishes

Service is great, Food is terrible! Only good one I like is chicken kabab/platter. Ordered chicken curry, lamb curry , both don’t have salt and spice. Chicken is boiled and lamb meat is not fresh. Nans are not fresh. Also ordered chicken roll, they seem to be okay’ish but the wrap was a frozen paratha from Indian store.
