Love the bourbon drinks! Pretty good prices comparatively. The ribs were really tasty. Portions are good- I ended up taking some home. Our waiter was great. He gave excellent suggestions and was attentive. I would go back.

The brisket and ribs were painfully dry, tough and hard to eat. Went home after only eating my cornbread and coleslaw. Maybe just a bad night? Ive had them before there and loved them.

One of a kind experience. Outstanding cocktails, great ambience (although a bit noisy when packed), superior service. Wish we had tasting rooms like this in our own area. Class act.

The food was amazing, we loved everything we got. Definitely the best barbecue we've had in the area! The drinks were also great. The service was just okay. Our waitress was very nice but she rarely checked on us, and our drinks took a very long time to get to us. She was apologetic though, and they were busy when we first arrived. Other than the service everything else was excellent!

I am sad that the Lucky Well will close after this month. I have enjoyed eating there for the past number of years. They have delicious barbecue and a large interesting selection of bourbon.

So sorry that they are closing. We look to use the LW Experience catering services should we have an occasion to. LW has been a big part of Ambler. My wife and I have LOVED dining there the last few years. Daisy and Maddy provided wonderful service. So personable. I would hire either of them for my own enterprise !!

Went for one last time. Drinks were outstanding. The ribs and main dishes were excellent as usual. However the sides were not up to their usual standards. I ordered the bake beans, I got a lot of juice and a few beans. I also ordered a side of collard green. Got a lot of meat, but few greens. Service was slow, took awhile to get our drinks.

This was the worst meal we've eaten out in years. Everything was terrible. The nachos were awful. The chicken was gross. A Caesar salad with a piece of chicken cutlet was not edible. It was unbelievable and we couldn't wait to pay our check and leave. Terrible and a big waste of money. We all left hungry because we couldn't finish our food.

We actually never ate our meal and left before ordering. Even though we had a reservation, the server said, with a bit of attitude, “I don't see you.” The we asked her to check again, that it was Open Table. She said, “Oh, I see..you asked for a quiet table and we have live music tonight so there aren't any of those.” She proceeded to take us to a table DIRECTLY in front of the band in the loudest possible spot. There were obviously places in the restaurant that could have worked for our party, but in spite of reserving in advance, the restaurant made absolutely no effort to accommodate and presented us with a weird attitude from the minute we walked in the door. It was very strange.

A consistently excellent place to grab outstanding BBQ and equally terrific sides. The atmosphere helps bring a great overall vibe to the restaurant, where customers are happy, engaged, and social. The service was great. Love having Lucky Well just a short drive from home!

Was excited to try a different BBQ spot. The mac and cheese was like eating mashed potatoes, noodles very over cooked. The brisket was just okay. Someone in my party had the ribs and said they were just okay. They had apparently hosted a baby shower and was just finishing up. The restaurant was very loud. Not sure if I'd go again. Disappointed ☹️

After numerous failed attempts at booking Philadelphia location we decided to drive the extra distance to Ambler. Sunday afternoon, we did expect a small to little crowd. This is the case. Still very nice modern basic barbecue . Understanding they did not open till four makes sense to us. By 5pm there was a nice crowd growing inside to give the room some vibe. What I fail to understand is how a barbecue restaurant can be out of brisket. I was literally the first person to order. Sadly, a burger was not what I had planned. An “old fashioned “with a giant ice cube is a cool idea. I do that myself at home. But not in small glass! Hardly any room for the cocktail! Nice way to increase profits?y

The food was average. There was a long wait to get our server to us. Drinks also took a very long time to get to the table. We did not have cutlery on the table when we were seated and after the food came out, we were waiting a while to get our servers attention so we can get our table cutlery.

Where do I start with a place like this? The ambient atmosphere reminiscent of a relaxed bar on the Nashville strip? The brilliant selection of drinks and the excellent bartenders that deliver them? The barbecue that satisfies my tastebuds so much that I feel like I get withdrawals when it’s finished?Ive been at this establishment 3 times now. Each time has became increasingly euphoric. I think the light that shines the brightest is two bartenders; Emma and Hunter. Hunter is a walking encyclopedia of excellent whiskey and the cocktails that are made with it. Emma delivers an ear to ear smile with every drink. Both are outrageously punctual. If you find yourself in or around Ambler, I implore you to give this place a visit. 6/5 If I could.

After coming here several times hoping to get brisket only to be told there was none, we were happy to see it was available this visit. The brisket was good but a little fatty and tough. Our waitress was very good. Overall we had a good meal here.
