We went for a double date on Friday night for dinner. Although the service was good and the place is beautiful, the food was disappointing. The appetizers were better than the main courses. The tastiest item, the spinach dip, was a small crock that was only half full ($14.00), and in order to have something to dip in it, you have to pay an extra $4.50 to get bread. Two of us got the Dorade fish, both thought it was far too salty. The pasta with octopus looked good but the octopus was too rubbery to cut, let alone chew. Ravioli in brown butter was also overly salty. I think this place might be better for happy hour than for a full meal. On the plus side, there's plenty of parking.

What a phenomenal find! The bar (craft cocktails), building, restaurant is gorgeous. Old stone mixed with modern posh amenities. The food is TRUE & authentic Italian- my son closed his eyes at bread course (grilled Roman bread with ricotta & honey for A Scarpetta) and said, “mom this tastes like Italy!” We shared and tasted so many things, antipasto, starters, the salads were fresh, perfect vinaigrettes, the pastas & sauces all legit, homemade from scratch and perfectly Al dente. They dry-age their beef too which is exceptional. For dessert we had tiramisu budino & affogato- a perfect ending. We will be back and would recommend to friends. The staff was great too, just the right amount of attentiveness. It was a joyful & delicious experience at Tresini.

Do yourself a favor and go try this place! From the moment you walk in and the aromas hit you to the service ( I wish I remembered our server's name but she was so lovely and fun ) to the food, the most important part, the food. I feel like only a poet can accurately relay what the food tastes like. The bread, the dips, the pasta and salmon special. My god, my pallet was on a roller coaster.I will say, the dessert was not my favorite( mint cannoli and tiramisu ) and could skip next time ( which is totally fine and can be compensated with MORE food gladly. ) But that is not enough for me to take stars off or not come back, this place knows how to bring flavors together and I will definitely be back to enjoy more dishes I didn't try.

Tresini is an absolute gem! In addition to many memorable meals at this charming Ambler restaurant, Tresini recently hosted the rehearsal dinner for our daughter's wedding weekend. AMAZING sums it up perfectly and was often the word overheard among the 60+ guests at the celebration. From the start, Lauren was a joy to work with in planning, organizing and accommodating some of the special dietary needs of our guests. The room was warm and welcoming and set up perfectly to facilitate flow and conversation - long tables with family style service, a private bar and use of the back area to have blessings and more private exchanges - just right! The food was magnificent (as it always is at Tresini) - so much so that our guests couldn't stop raving about the meal and even asked Chef Brad if he would consider opening a Tresini in their town. How lucky we are to have this gem in ours! All this with impeccable and delightful service. Thank you once again Tresini for reminding us how breaking bread with loved ones not only fills the belly, but also the soul!

The food was very good with lots of flavor. The solminer was amazing. The service was excellent. We found it unusual when we asked for a table away from the table that we were to be seated at very close to another occupied table and told that all of the other tables were reserved. Several never had any occupants while we were there. I definitely would return.

Great group dining spot! Had a remarkable time and dinner for our group of 20 at our annual Christmas dinner we have been doing for 15 years. This was the best year and venue by far- the food was phenomenal. The attention to detail in planning everything for us took the stress off me and allowed us to enjoy ourselves. Staff was great and we will be back!

I have been here a few times now, but went last week for the Girls night. Wow, awesome time. You get a few wine tastings throughout your dinner and a complimentary appetizer board for the table. We truly enjoyed ourselves! Most of the table got pasta dishes that were all incredible. Highly recommended!

Tresini has been a wonderful addition to Ambler. The chef, Brad Daniels, is amazing in the kitchen, but more importantly, with how he treats his employees. You can tell by the atmosphere and general attitude of everyone working there that they absolutely love it and feel valued. Although the menu is on the pricey side, it's absolutely worth it because they make their pasta from scratch, use quality ingredients, and put love and effort into each dish.
